Nickname(s): Bert, Ole' Unkie Bert, Crazy Eye(though never to his face or to his knowledge)
Age/Birthdate: 44 yrs/27th May

Height: 6' 2"

Immediate Family: Humphrey Louis Granger(Father - NPC); Toby Granger (Brother - NPC); Louis Granger (nephew - NPC); Caroline Granger (niece); Sterling Granger (nephew); Kaylee Granger (grandniece); Correy Granger (grandnephew)
Descended from: Enoch Granger (direct line)
Profession: Head of Accounting and personal accountant to Humphrey Granger and the family's corporation. Part-time tutor of mathematics.
Place of residence: Holds a permanent means of residence in a secondary house in the Granger compound, but has been known to leave it vacant for weeks in favor of a rented room or apartment while away on extended business.
Marital Status: Divorcee
Significant Other/Pets: Maryanne Charleston (first ex-wife); Antoinette Bruchard (second ex-wife). Though he has no pets, Bert always jokes he's going to purchase a dog and name it after his second wife, just to have the little b*tch around again.
Distinguishing Marks: Has a distinctive eye twitch that is in fact a very mild form of tourette syndrome he's since developed through the years. This twitch is more noticeable the more worked up or emotional he gets, and calms more and more when he drinks.
Things everyone knows: While his father, Humphrey rules their branch of the family with a iron fist, it's Bert that runs about and keeps the old man's tails tucked in right, finance wise. During Caroline's sordid affairs concerning the past and the company's money, he's come to develop a closer bond to his niece more than any in the family. It's a quiet sort of truce, and after the initial rage and shock, he's developed a sort of respect for the woman, given the cleverness it took to muddle the numbers on him in the first place. Since then, however, thanks to that awful business, Bert's since reinvented the Granger corporation's finances and accounting department and has not only introduced a whole new system, but has essentially made their little empire that much more iron clad in the purse department for less payout and resources. Needless to say, Bert's addicted to numbers, his work, and despite these two things; keeping what?s left of his sanity. Unkie Bert's a bit neurotic, and given the medication he's on, as well as self medication, most of the family know to either keep their teasing to a minimum when they see him about, or give the man a wide berth. He has no children of his own, though doesn't mourn that fact, given the wretched problems he had with his ex wives who had all but married him for his money and his name, but didn't take into account the overbearingly zany, and at times irritatingly selfish nature of his personality....Nor his attention to the books.
Things not everyone knows: He's a bit of an alcohol problem, a bit of a stress problem, but what most of the family doesn't know is that he has a ferocious short term memory problem. Not something that's good to have when you're an accountant in charge of such a big company, but he's managed over the years with post-it notes and well organized planners. Hubert also sincerely mourns the fact he never found a wife he could keep and though the children of the family drive him nuts, he wouldn't have let a child of his own go unloved.
