Ice blue eyes drifted open as the dragoness woke upon her perch. She'd fallen asleep on one of the ledges outside, even the thundering falls hadn't seemed to bother her.
Icy gaze drifted over the territory then, wings unfurling in a stretch, testing the winds. It was just right for a flight, and maybe a hunt.
A grin was given at the thought of a hunt, it had been so long.
First things first. A glance toward the entrance to the lair, before she dove. Talons tucked close to her body.
Jaws wide, she skimmed the surface of the lake, catching a few fish.
These though were not her meal, a bit of water had been taken in as well, and wheeling around she landed back upon the perch.
Climbing toward the lair's entrance, she slid inside.
Down through the tunnels, toward one of the recently dug cold pools.
Snout lowering into the pool, she had forced herself not to swallow, it had been a test perhaps. Very tempting. But soon she released her catch, the fish once swimming around in her jaws, now free within the pool.
She'd gotten the idea to raise fish one night. Ice blue gaze fell upon the creatures now swimming too and fro, a satisfied grin upon her snout.
