Vendrek'kal.., every night she dreamed, she dreamed of the day she met him, in the Inn, as antisocial as she was, it was the Nexus that had brought them together, and that now kept them apart.

She dreamed of the day she and her sister would return to the lair, to the Inn, to those they loved, yet the pair remained in self exhile.

They didn't want to, but it was for safety. One green eye drifted open as she peered to the bite on her shoulder, yet she let her sister get by with it, for now at least.

Green eyes peered out of the cavern, well..., more like a hole in the rock, they had to coil around each other just to fit, but it proved dry and sturdy.

Lifting her gaze to the sky she dreamed again, a waking dream, a dream of returning soon, of being with her family again, at times she blamed her sister for turning her heart soft. Though she knew it wasn't Icer's doing, she did owe her sister much, a place to live, family that cared, she'd have been off on her own and may well have never met her mate had it not been for her sister's pushing.

Closing her eyes once more, she went back into that deep sleep of hibernation, waiting, and dreaming.
