The wind stung an already weathered face beneath the frayed cowl of his cloak. The cloak was as tired as the man within it. It was a patchwork of leather bits, but sturdy and strong enough to endure for years. Leather bracers on his forearms and gloves on his hands kept them from hurting. The hand at the reins was missing a couple of fingers and the glove he wore had been made to conform to it. He pulled the cloak about his shoulders and chest with one hand while his other that held the reins of his horse.

Into the market he walked after riding for far too long. He was no threat as that average height but he had a few daggers on him that would be at the ready for any trouble he might find himself in. The area looked no different to him than it had been years ago. Not much had changed. A couple of new shops and merchant booths.

Hooves clumped against the ground behind him of his horse and a pack mule trailing behind by rope. When he stopped horse and mule, it was before the fur merchant's crude kiosk. He greeted the man with a handshake and they started their talk of business of furs.

The cold was hanging on in the realm and people were barely coming to the market. When they were, they sought out furs for their beds, clothes and more. It was a conversation that had both of the men smiling by the time coins were being dropped into Sefron's good hand.

"A good Winter to you, Usef!"

Sefron then moved off towards the shop at the far end of the marketplace where he knew the man from years ago. Years, but there was no guarantee that he would want to buy the leathergoods from him. He dragged a breath into his lungs, dispelling it out in a mist on the freezing air.
