The darkest before the dawn was the saying when upon the horizen, black silk sails, five sets could be seen, like a black cloud moving towards the harbor and shoreline. A raging storm seemed to surround the vessels that moved in virtual silence towards it's destination with thunder that could be heard after the blinding flash of lightening thrown erratically around the five Clipper Style Ships that moved through the water toward the docks. Suddenly four out of the five of the vessels seemed to pause and become stationary just outside the mouth of the harbor, allowing one single ship to continue onward towards the docks. As it drew closer a single flag, depicting a skull and crossbones could be seen high upon the mast. Just another pirate, many would most likely say but they would soon learn, a pirate, yes, but one they would soon not forget nor would they wish to attract the attention of. On the bow of the one ship that continued its trek into the harbor, its destination, dockside, stood a single figure. Adorned in solid black, except for a single splash of blood red that flowed down its back and rippled in the breeze as the ship moved through the water. Not once did the lone figure move as the ship drew closer to the docks, twin pools of onyx watched the emptiness of the docks as the ship moved in closer, a face void of emotions, yet a sense of pure evil radiated from its very presence as it stood there. The icy coldness that surrounded the figure seemed prelude the arrival of the solitary ship that moved in silence towards the docks. Upon the arrival at the docks, the crew scurried to moor the ship to the dockside and get the gangplank into position, their glances were at the figure still standing on the bow, to seemingly insure it had not moved before they were done. Once the ship was secure, the First Mate gave a nod and approached the figure. "Captain, Ship is secured." Was all he was able to utter when the figure turned and settled those cold onyx eyes upon him. "Good, I will be taking Pol with me, ya stay with da ship and none of the crew sets foot on the dock at this time. Failure to adhere to my orders...." The cold malevolent voice, definitely female, spoke to the First Mate yet she left the ending unsaid. The First Mate knew what would happen if any failed to obey their Captain, he had watched as the last First Mate was fed screaming for mercy, piece by piece to the sharks that seemed to follow the Fleet, then he was moved into the position. "Yes'm Capt'n!" He quickly answered and stepped aside to allow his Captain to move towards the gangplank. The Captain paused and glanced towards her cabin where a cloaked figure that glowed a dark ethereal aura of pure evil, two glowing red eyes peered outward from the hood as it approached and gave a slight bow to the Captain. She just watched the figure for a moment and then turned and walked towards the gangplank and without a glance back she stepped up and proceeded to move with fluid grace of a predator down the plank to the docks below. The cloaked figure followed, a single sash of gold adorned at its waist was all the color it had upon the black cloak that covered its body. Who or what this figure happened to be, was anybodies guess, but after sensing the aura of it and glancing to those eyes, few would be brave enough to find out and if so, it would be at their own risk. The Captain and her escort moved through the dark silent streets, if there was anyone that happened to be awake and wandering those streets, even the destitute that usually graced most alleyways, would of kept their distance from the duo that walked in silence. A scoping of the territory was being made as the two held no solid direction, landmarks noted with merchant facilities available for buying and selling of wares. Notes were also made of bar and Inns, that could be put in use if her time in port would be more than usual or if she wished a bit of privacy and a good bath. The local town guards and other law enforcing establishments and patrols were made note of, she left nothing to chance as she walked in the dead of night, she knew some of those could be most likely bribed or made to look the other way, as she had found to be true in other places her journeys had taken her. The last place she found was the Flesh Markets, this brought a hint of a smile to those luscious lips, cruel and heartless with the very ice that was her heart. She glanced at Pol, the cloaked figure, and nodded. "We return to the ship and move back to the fleet till dawn, I found what I sought and we will return when the Market is active." Her voice sultry yet with the infusion of venom that could cause anyone to back away from approaching this female or become a vital statistic to be solved when found by the city guard. The two returned to the ship docked in the harbor, as she climbed the gangplank her eyes met with her First Mate, whom lowered his quickly. "Cast off and return to the Fleet, we shall return here when the sun peaks midday to see if there will be buyers for my cargo. Make sure they are cleaned up and put in suitable attire made for their station. I want to get a good price for this batch and no playing with the merchandise or the sharks will get a nice meal from those that do dip their fingers in the cookie jar." The Captain spoke plainly but everyone on the ship heard her loud and clear and knew she would make good on that promise. They watched as she and her escort climbed to her cabin and entered, no soner the door was closed they pulled the gangplank and unmoored the ship and moved it back with the other four ships that waited in the harbor. Then all five moved a safe distance from the harbor, there was no need for an early announcement of the Black Fleets entrance, but the towns folk would soon know it was there.
