A shadowy, narrow cobblestone lane tucked between the Red Dragon Inn and surrounding buildings.
Poorly lit at night, dangerous throughout the day, the alleyway is the preferred venue for clandestine meetings, criminal behavior, and settling matters of a violent nature. Angry inn patrons are often seen charging out the RDI's back door for the privacy of the alley, where they can fight without the obstacles of furniture, intervening bystanders, and annoyed staff.
Fighters should beware, however. The cobblestones can be slick with refuse and offal, resulting in treacherous footing. Beyond that, victors may return to the inn smelling somewhat less fresh than when they left it.
