Damp steps crisscross the boardwalk as she flits from stack to stack. In her arms is clutched at the screaming babe in her arms. Sounds of comfort whisper past her lips trying to keep the child silent as her fearful eyes seek signs of shelter. A sound from the left has her hurrying right, further away from the water.

You will be safe...he will not find you...

Looking upon the bundles face, her fingers gently stroke its cheek as she hurries. Heedless of the looks from those she passes her course remains set as she approaches the first river crossing. Hesitantly she looks at the crimson waters below, holding her baby tighter. You will be safe...he will not find you.

Far ahead she sees a place of ever changing fortunes...
