Hello and Welcome!

Vikingr Yarns is the sharing of short stories through my character, Shylah. Most all have a moral to them, and tend to be humorous in some fashion. Several poems can be found, too, since Shy is known to recite them.

You will find various images in this thread because it's my personal belief that visual aids are a tremendous help for RP purposes.

The Hjerte og Sjel (Heart and Soul) thread contains the lyrics for songs Shy has heard over the many years in various realms visited, and that she finds particularly endearing.

Ever see text show up during RP that sends you into a ginormous laughing fit'

That's what happened to me yesterday. No matter how much I tried to stop laughing, I couldn't. I was laughing so long and so hard my stomach hurt. The best kind of pain!

Thanks to the players of Rage and Shadow, and Captain Jack Morgan.

Curious as to what had me 'lose it?' It's probably one of those times when people think you had to be there in order to be amused. But, I think it stands on its own. Enjoy!

Thank you to everyone who participated in last night's RP in the Twilight Island room!

I enjoyed it much more than you probably realize. Also, on that note — No, I am not upset. I realize some of you were concerned about it. It's Role Play. I am flattered (in a weird kind of way) that some of you believe I am/was mad. Rest assured, I am not/was not.

As most everyone knows by now Photobucket has decided to go with their Plus 500 plan and charge $39.99 mo. or $399.99 yr. to use images uploaded on their site for 3rd Party Hosting. Ugh.

So now there are a lot of missing images connected to a great number of my posts. I'm sorry this has happened.

I know there are other websites for storing images and I hope to restore many of mine. One of those sites is TinyPic, but I doubt I'll use it since it's owned by Photobucket, and I think they just might charge for that site, too.

I'm still deciding on what to do, and until then we have to look at that ugly image Photobucket used to replace the pictures. Again, ugh!
