Several members of The Watch were dispatched to the White Stag Pub, one of RhyDin's long-standing and well-frequented bars in the Old Temple District, after a call came into the station pertaining to a serious kerfuffle in progress.  Upon their arrival at the booming business The Watch found ten unconscious males and three visibly shaken females held captive outside of the establishment by two of Shylah Vulpecula's seafaring crew: Gjurd and Magnus (no surnames given). It was noted that the ten men and three women being detained by the Norse Vikings are reportedly affiliated with the Pro-Human group currently involved in protests and sit-ins around the city.

"I'm telling you, officer, those guys are werewolves! You gotta believe me!" -Mary Applegate, demonstrator

Eyewitnesses accused the protestors of starting the altercation with their jeering and hurling of insults toward the customers who entered and exited the pub. The fracas soon escalated as the crowd outside grew larger and louder; rotten eggs as well as partially eaten slices of pizza were suddenly being pelted at the building and at any pub employee that tried to intervene.

"There were about twenty-seven to thirty protestors altogether, but the others ran off before the cops got here." -Teddy Winkels, bystander

Why the thirteen alleged Pro-Human group members swarmed inside the establishment to create additional havoc remains unknown at this time. When told to leave the premises, they refused. While the supposed leader of the thirteen was being escorted out of the pub by Gunnar (Head Barkeep and Bouncer) the other twelve demonstrators began overturning tables. It was at that point when Gjurd and Magnus became involved.

"Vi kom for mjød og a tale or two. Vi got a grand brawl også. Alle hagler Odin og Thor!!" -Magnus

The thirteen protestors were taken into custody. It remains questionable if they are actually connected to the Pro-Human movement. No charges have been brought against Gunnar, Gjurd, or Magnus. Ms Vulpecula was not present for comment.

"Uff da," exclaims the female Viking as she lowers her texting device, having received Gunnar's news about the Pro-Human sit-in and the ruckus that followed.

A message is immediately sent to Watch Headquarters respectfully requesting a copy of the incident report for her own files. Quietly mutters, "This is not the best way to advertise The White Stag!"

A Call went out to The Wild summoning them to a special meeting. Situations such as this must be nipped in the bud as soon as possible. If heads are going to roll, they just might end up on the end of spikes and put on display for all of RhyDin to see!

"Quite fint, Gunnar. 'Tis amazing this is required these days, ja"!" Harumphs as she re-reads the notice he plans on submitting to the various RhyDin publications. "Hopefully, it shall be in the papers on the morrow.

"Be sure to place your notice in all of our eating og drikking areas, too. We shall not tolerate those protestors or any 'humans only' movement that seeks to disrupt our business. Anyone causing problems will be taken care of accordingly."

"What about being a Safe Haven?" Gunnar quietly inquires.

Shy pauses a moment or two before responding to his question, giving it serious consideration.

"As you know, Gunnar, our patrons range fra the humble blue collar worker to the upper-crust of society. Any of hvem kan have weaponry on their person. I am not going to make them hand o'er their weapons, or make a rule that nei weapons are allowed inside the pub. At least not at this time. Therefore, I kannot guarantee that violence will not be met med violence.

"So to call it a 'safe haven' by the terms I have heard? I am tenkning that mayhap be a little bit of a stretch. Howe'er, we always strive to make it as safe as possible for e'eryone."

Gunnar smiles. He knows exactly what Shy means. They have very little trouble at the White Stag.

"I agree," he says, "We are as safe of a place as any drinking establishment in this city!"

"Godt. Then 'tis business as usual."

Gunnar makes copies of the notice and proceeds to tack them up throughout the White Stag, upstairs and downstairs, in plain sight.

For good measure there is a special weather-proof one attached to the Pub's main door.
