According to sources, a middle-aged man was viciously assaulted between the hours of one and four A.M. last night in the Red Dragon Inn. The victim has been identified only as Dave by local patrons and friends.

Witnesses claim the altercation was initiated by a frequenter of the Inn, called Eleanor.

"I recall hearing Tara was going to tend to him or find out what was happening," a bystander said.

"I saw part of the end. I was summoned back to Dis so I couldn't stay but it appeared as if Eleanor dug a blade in my Uncle Dave's belly. She looked like she was enjoying it," Tara Ryneiyn, first-hand witness and acquaintance of the victim, said.

The injuries appear to not have been life threatening, as the victim's niece was said to have escorted him home and not to a healthcare facility.

While the guilty parties have been identified, no charges have yet been filed. An interview with the alleged offender, however, revealed a notable lack of remorse.

"Ain't none of your business," the offending party claimed of the brutal assault.

No word yet on the victim's current condition following the violent attack.
