FLA Fanaticism Sparks Riot June 22, 2011

DOCKSIDE, R.D. —- Five native RhyDinian men have been arrested in connection with a riot that took place near the RhyDin docks yesterday around one PM.

The suspects, whose names are being withheld pending further investigation by the Watch, are reported to have assaulted police officers as the authorities arrived on the scene of a devastating uproar outside a merchant booth in Dockside. According to witnesses, what started out as a seemingly peaceful demonstration involving the Fair Labor Agreement quickly erupted into chaos when one of the protestors resorted to coarse slander of the booth's only employee, and was subsequently penalized by who appeared to be the booth's owner.

"The loud guy with the what?s it called" Megaphone" Yeah, he called the one lady a slaver's whore and the blue haired guy showed up and kicked him in the balls. That made everyone mad," a witness said.

"The protest's leader has been hospitalized and his identity currently withheld from the public until can question him further?" commented Officer Sherlock of the RhyDin Watch.

The booth that was attacked is reportedly just one of many around the city carrying the cologne "Alpha" " a product which is endorsed by known dueler Harris D"Artainian and promoted by model and spokesperson "Clover."

Though details following the riot's inception remain generally foggy, onlookers have confirmed that the subject of the disturbance did concern an argument regarding the recently publicized FLA, a contract agreement that guarantees no kind of slavery or inhumane labor is involved in any part of a business's production process.

"All this Fair Labor Agreement garbage does is draw battle lines in the sand," Harris D"Artainian told the Post. "It's not a black and white issue, there are shades of gray. And if either side forces my hand again I'm gonna ball it up into a fist and punch them with it."

Authorities claim that approximately twenty-five men and women were involved in the riot. Six serious cases of injury were deferred to Riverview Clinic for immediate medical attention.

Neighboring business owners saw no reason to close their doors, but they reacted uneasily to the news of the disturbance so near to home.

"Someone could seriously have gotten hurt," said Amar Lydon, 42. "I mean seriously gotten hurt. People don't think of these things when they are forming their political or whatever agendas."

No further details have been released regarding the case, but the Watch would like to assure the public that violent disturbances will and should not be tolerated.
