Local Men Charged with Mob-Related Crimes February 3, 2010

Three reputed members of an organized crime group, including one man said to be a captain, were arrested today, accused of Federal charges related to the group's attempts to extend operations well into the RhyDin proper.

The reputed captain, Dmitri Andreev, 49, was charged with attempting to establish gambling operations and aiding in racketeering in West End, RhyDin. The other two were charged with dealings in drugs and firearms.

According to the Town Watch, Andreev and his associates have long been under investigation since their arrival here in RhyDin.

"Ever since they arrived, a river of crime has followed them," Michael O"Malley, Watch lieutenant, said. "The worst part of it is, Andreev is just an underling. We know that there's some greater force at work here.?

Indeed, criminal operations suspected to be caused by this same crime syndicate have not ceased since the latest arrest.

The hearing is scheduled for May eleventh.
