A letter found its way to my inbox today, that asked an interesting question. Where do the dictionaries come from'

We have several here at the Post, and not a one of us here can think of who brought them in. Like bibles in a hotel nightstand, they are just there.

The letter suggested that dictionaries were magical in nature. But who is behind the magic dictionary conspiracy' Helpful elves or snobby fairies who think you need a better vocabulary"

We asked around various bookshops in RhyDin to see what the sales were on dictionaries. Mr. Hollands, of the "Read All About It' Bookshop in the marketplace had this to say: "No. Can't say I recall selling a lot of dictionaries, come to think of it. We've had the same five in stock for the last ten years."

That got us to wondering, what else, besides dictionaries, just magically appeared in various RhyDin homes. Here's our list: Salt/Pepper Shakers Books (other than dictionaries) Sweaters Rulers Coppers Pens Twist ties Greeting cards Mirrors Pencils Computer gadget cables Tools (screwdrivers, pliers) Batteries Sewing needles and straight pins Bobby pins Safety pins Buttons Dragon scales Socks Combs Lipstick/make up Business cards Eye of newt. Toad stools. Bats wing String Newspapers. Although, we're not complaining about that.
