More Holiday Spirit in RhyDin December 27, 2009
"Tis the season for holiday cheer, and RhyDin's citizens certainly know how to open their hearts at Christmas time for those that are less fortunate than themselves. Here at the Post, reports that Santa has been to town have been coming in from all over the city. One such report comes from the City Orphanage. The children in the Orphanage awoke Christmas morning to find dolls, wooden trains, trucks and other toys under their tree, which were delivered in the wee hours of Christmas morning by six horse drawn wagons. The note attached to the toys was simple and sweet.
"Merry Christmas, From Santa"
A spokesperson for the Orphanage confirmed that there were initials on the lower corner of the letter, a mysterious Z.Z. The staff speculated as to who it may be but were very careful not to share those thoughts with the children. The children were more than happy to believe they received a visit from Santa if the positively radiant smiles on their cherubic faces were any indication.
In addition the Clinic's children's ward was also visited by Santa. With wagons full of toys like the Orphanage had received. The staff at the clinic was moved at the generosity and whimsical spirit of the mysterious benefactor known only by the initials "Z.Z". Whoever you are, Z.Z., you have made the holidays brighter for many of RhyDin's children and we thank you.
