No Leads for String of Robberies in Marketplace, New Haven April 8, 2010

The RhyDin Watch is currently searching for a man believed to be responsible for as many as eight armed robberies in the past month in and around the Marketplace district.

According to victims interviewed, the suspect is approximately six feet tall, has a lean build, cropped brown hair, and is between the ages of twenty-three and thirty. The suspect is to be considered armed and dangerous, and his crimes have ranged from caravan raids to singular predatory misdemeanors.

In possibly related news, Balthazar Avery-Brooks, a high-profile spice and wine merchant in New Haven, was robbed earlier this evening. According to police, two suspects, a man and woman, burglarized his home while he spent the evening with friends a few streets away.

Despite the availability of fine art and other priceless artifacts, the criminals reportedly only got away with an undisclosed amount of gold kept in his strongbox.

No word yet on any suspects, but citizens are encouraged to contact the local Watch if they have any information related to the case.
