Watch Called to Bakery for False Alarm.

Early this morning the Watch was called to the scene of a potential murder when a pastry chef walked in to work to find a trail of red liquid on the floor leading out the back door. He followed the trail and found the baker in the alley covered in red. He called the Watch who immediately responded with paramedics.

The baker, a one Mr. Klinger, was found disoriented but alive. Seems Mr. Klinger, after having an argument with Mrs. Klinger, got extremely drunk and came to the bakery. Being as soused as he was, he had an accident and ended up spilling an entire bowl of red velvet cake batter.

Mr. Klinger is reported to be hungover and embarrassed but fine.
