Judge In RhyDin says "Thou shall not sue the Nexus"

A judge in RhyDin has dismissed a lawsuit that was filed against the Nexus saying that no address can be located to serve the higher power with court papers.

"Given that this court finds that there can never be papers served on the named defendant," Judge Judith Wapner started. "this action will be dismissed with prejudice." When asked for a response, the plaintiff, Raymondo J. Gimwinkle, looked agitated.

"The Nexus is responsible for so much mayhem, loss and confusion. Birth defects, plagues, famines! This so called "higher power" seems to be more malevolent than helpful." Mr. Gimwinkle said. "There has to be a way for it to be held accountable." Others suits had been brought in the past against the Nexus. Most of the suits were cases of missing persons in which the Nexus was considered to be a prime suspect in the disappearances.

"The Nexus has long been a bogeyman or a scapegoat in numerous tragic events that have occurred in RhyDin City streets." Judge Wapner told the throng of reporters outside the courtroom. "The Nexus is nothing more than a child's monster under the bed to those lacking the understanding of the way RhyDin City operates. Crime happens here in our fine city. Is it tragic" Yes. Should that be addressed" Absolutely. Should we sue any time something bad happens? No."

Some observers likened suing the Nexus to suing the Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny or Santa Claus.

For now, the Nexus is not a named defendant in any named suits. If Judge Judith Wapner has anything to say about it, it won't be.
