Off the top of her head Sofiel couldn't recall where she saw that The Post had been hiring. Perhaps, it had been the one page spread, or perhaps it had been one of the fliers that had been flitting around town. The rainbow haired girl was never one to let an opportunity like this pass her by. And the search for her mother had gone cold. No one anywhere in this town had ever heard of Vivienne Laroque. But, sometimes journalists have other avenues to venture down that were not normally tread. She sat at the end of her bed, hemming and hawing over whether or not to actually apply. The pros and cons were weighed and needless to say the pros won out. Lacking a computer, a type writer, or even a word processor all she could do was handwrite her application and hope that it would be sufficient.

Name. Well, that's easy enough, she thought as she penned Sofiel in a tidy, neat print. Chewing on the pen's tip for a moment and debated whether or not to add the last name she thought was her's. Deciding to keep that to herself. She left her name as she had always been called with no last name to distinguish her from the next person.

Gender: Again, simple. She wrote female. Then she moved on to the next.

Date of birth:November 1. The date was iffy and Alexander never really told her. Except she remembered turning five quite a few times. Shaking her head of the memory as she continued on.

Current residence: The Red Dragon Inn.

Education:University of Vienna with a focus in Languages, specifically German, French, and Russian.

Job experience (List any and all that might be relevant): Translator for a small press shop in Salzberg. Librarian work while still at the University. Cataloging and organizing the periodicals.

Position desired: Research, editorial work.

The pen was set down as she eyed the application so far with a critical eye. All seemed to be in order.

1. Why do you want to work at the RhyDin Post' Currently, I find that my life here in this town is lacking. I would like to be more active in its current events and be up to date on the politics as they seem to shift with the tides. Mainly, I want to work for the Post because I know I can be an asset to your establishment.

2. What is your favorite periodical to read (the Post not included) and why' Doctrine and Life, Journal of Biblical Literature. I read these because I believe it is important to know the history, the works of one's faith and how they apply in every day life. "Hammerterz Forum, The International Newsletter for the Fencing Collector" and "The Fightmaster, Journal of the Society of American Fight Directors" These I read because I like to know more about dueling and swordsmanship as these are two of my past times.

A quick perusal and spell check before she folded, then dropped it into an ivory colored envelope. On the front it was addressed to one Mr. Darrien Fenner c/o The Rhy'din Post. Signed, sealed and soon to be delivered. The envelope and its contents were dropped into the mail slot and sent on their way.
