West End Bar Brawl Turns Deadly October 18, 2011

WEST END, R.D. —- West End Watch members said they are investigating an early morning bar fight-turned-riot that left fourteen dead and as many injured on Sunday.

The incident reportedly occurred between the hours of two and three o"clock, in a district of West End that is characteristically frequented by several known biker gangs from the greater RhyDin area. Watch officers said they were dispatched to the area after a riot was reported by a neighboring business and upon arriving at the scene, found several unconscious victims and several more fatally wounded.

Pending investigations, the name of the club where the incident occurred is being withheld by authorities. And while detectives refuse to offer any comments to the press regarding the suspected motives of the attack, several witnesses have claimed that the onslaught was the work of a small group of vampires.

"Vampires" They say they think it was vampires?" Horace Filbert, 38, said. "Well, who else do you know who busts into dust and flames when you stick a pool cue through their heart?"

Filbert later confirmed the presence of Shen Lei of Transcendental Paranorm Facilitators, further fueling the speculation that vampires were behind the attack.

"Didn't see who started it," another witness commented. "Music was pumping, everything was pretty cool, then folks started bleeding and throwing punches. Tell you one thing, though - bullets don't work on those sons-of-<CENSORED>."

Shen could not be reached for comment, but her Watcher Rufus Bennet had this much to say:

"She did what she is trained to do. She assessed the situation when she first arrived, and as I understand it, she began the evacuation of the still living while fighting off the vampires herself. When the fight was over, there was no need for her to remain - the Watch call on us as a standard whenever vampires are involved. She will also be keeping a close eye on the graves of those who were killed in the attack; if they rise, she will ensure that they find peace once again."

Transcendental Paranorm Facilitators is a business set up by Shen and Bennett, offering their services as supernatural pest control officers. They are utilized regularly by Shantalaine Realty, as well as private citizens with undead problems.

Anyone with any information about the aforementioned incident is urged to contact the Watch immediately.
