Why in The Wood was everything always threatening to eat her" Mostly cats and big birds and other creatures of prey, but sometimes people! The most scary of people! Well, except the woman, now that she thought about it....and the cake/dog man, though he wasn't cake or dog, but he had barked an- she was getting distracted! Her thoughts immediately reeled back to the scary, bleeding man who had walked into the hall after the other two had been taken by the nexus....leaving unattended cake that was all too tempting. At least, it had been then, but now all it did was make her want to throw up. He asked her to heal him....and, had she known how, she would have gladly, gladly obliged him....and not just to avoid horrifying threats of being burned up and eaten to be carried out! Terrified and doubting she could talk any reason into him, she faked the process with lots of glowing lights, illusion, and a lie about why he still felt wounded. The fae was really quite bright; she just rarely seemed it with the way her thoughts seemed to jump from one topic to the next, and her often bubbly, perky disposition didn't help any....But he had said he didn't want to go to the inn, so that was her first stop! She would hide there until he forgot about her.

The door was always closed! She would have been more offended if it wasn't so cold outside. Who was it that Sierra suggested she speak to about getting this place to cater to folk her size" Focus! It wouldn't take the man too long to wonder why he still hurt something fierce, longer for the illusion to wear off, but then he'd start hunting her! She had to get in! But no one was coming in or out, and they'd surely not hear her knocking....That was when she saw the hole, and she made a franctic dive for it. It was....gross....all cobwebby and dirty....and too small to be comfortable for her, but....well, when a crazy, bloody man is chasing you, you've got to make some sacrifices. She flattened her wings against her and crawled through the opening.

She felt disgusting once she finally made it inside, covered in dust and The Wood knew what else, and she was fairly certain she had crawled over some mouse droppings. But she was inside, and she called out for her champion! or....at least someone who'd hide her....but everyone was wrapped up in their own business, ignored the fae as per usual. Only just a bit daunted, she decided she would just have to hide herself. She was used to self-reliance, and, if the whole situation wasn't so....life-threatening, it might have actually been fun. She enjoyed a good game of hide and seek. The idea came to her in a flash. She was in an inn. Inns have rooms! Locked rooms! Dusting off her wings, she darted up the stairs and made her way to the first door that had a large enough gap for her to squeeze through.
