This folder has been created for those who wish to contribute stories, but don't want to go through the responsibility of maintaining their own, special folder.

Feel free to use this folder to post stories that otherwise wouldn't have a home.

Is this f-f-forum solumnly about your OWN story or could you begin a topic of "mini-stories" so to s-s-speak. Which is exactly what I plan to do

*Just w-w-wondering

Welcome to the Red Dragon Inn and Dragon's Mark Warlord.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean about "your own story", but if you read the forum guidelines here....http://rdi.dragonsmark.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4

Dragon's Tales is an area for those who want a place to post their story stuff, but either don't feel they post enough to need, or just don't want a full folder of their own. So feel free to post some story items here, of if you decide you want to really get in to it, you can post a folder request in the folder request section.

What I meant was, would it be RDI-legal to start a topic where everyone else could post smaller stories, or would that just prove futile/useless :?: Oh, and thanks for the URL.

That's what the folders are here for.

Like I said, if it's on a small scale, you can post here in DT and invite others to join in, or if you want something on a grander scale, request your own folder.

Folders are not closed to anyone, however those moderating can remove posts as they see fit.

Hello, I'm new here, but not to RPing online......I was just wondering if this is where you would post a detailed, intriceate character history and mini-stories, or would that be a requested sub folder in this catagorey?

From the sounds of it, you'll want to request a folder. That way you can post all sorts of different threads (Or...chapters, if you will), and keep it up to date with any kind of ooc information, history, what have you! Dragon's Tale, from my point of view, is a spot where you can leisurely detail some stories on your character.

I suppose it all boils down to how much you plan to post. :)

Hello!

This is exactly what the Dragon's Tales folder is here for. :)

Once you have 20 posts in your story then you can request your own story folder according to the requesting a story folder guidelines so post away and have fun! :D

I don't know if this question has been asked before (as well as whether this is the right place to ask questions or not), but is it acceptable for one to post images that accompany the stories (kinda like a story book)" I assume there would be basic copyright rules, such as not using anyone else's artwork...but would it be possible for artists such as myself to do such a thing"

Very much so.

I do it myself.

I have been in many rp games and usually most of the were ummm well compared to this place they were dull. I am new here and trying to grasp the concept of how this place works. If anyone can offer tips (and i hope i can say this here) it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Okay. I'm a serious writer...and I mean serious. I love to wrote my own stories, poems,...anything. I read your guidelines on writing and know that I need to have a certain amount of posts in order to have my own Story folder. Do I have to post the 20+ stories before or after I get my folder thing? That's what I was confused about...I need clarification on it.
