Inanna Sorgatani

Assassin and Lunara'Hadris to the late Lord Kalis-nar of Athas, Inanna Sorgatani, was found dead today in the center of the Marketplace.

The once noble Desert Warrior was found badly burned, as if by the sun, and...dried. It seems she was dehydrated. The seemingly mummified body is being held and the only clue was an old business card for "Dalia's Dark Side-Occult Supplies and Services". Mages that were consulted said the murder was, indeed, done with magick and more likely, demonic intervention.

Aolis had recovered from his horrific bout with some sort of strange flux, and stepped out into the fresh air for the first time in days. A faint smile had settled on his usually serene face, but it quickly fled.

Aolis came upon the scene of the grisly murder, and was extrememly saddened. He turned on a heel and headed back for Icer and Aurther's lair, prefferring to spend time with those joyous young dragonets and hatchlings than to see such horrors as this.

He had intended on finding Sera's shoppe, and was bringing her a gift. It was a bit late, for Valentine's Day had come and gone, but he had bought it in time. It would have to wait, now. No point in visiting her when in such a foul mood. He sighed, missing her.

As he was leaving, he smelled the stench of demon's and followed it, angry at the scene the hell-trash had wrought in his new home. He was a magickal creature, as well, and planned on giving it what for, knowing he could protect himself somewhat.

Aolis was drawn to the door of a closed shoppe, called Dalia's Dark Side. He peered in the windows, knocked on the door, but was not answered. He thought he saw movement in there, but wasn't sure.

Oh well. Back to Icer and Aurther's. He had gifts for them, as well as his month's rent.

Khoss did find this dead body, laying in the street of the Marketplace, and sensed the lingering memories, this one had a life of Death and Betrayal about her, he pondered what to do, but for now, nothing, he could not give this woman life back to her, but undeath for sure. As a Mummy, for her mummified corpse did remind him of the Mummies of Har'Akir.

But for now, he would leave her be, maybe someone would claim her body, one never knew, but after all, Khoss was known in Darkon as Lord of Carrion, as one of his titles, given him by his many enemies.

Ecstasy Is Revenge

Bellora left the morgue as quietly and as unnoticed as she had entered. The body of her fellow assassin, sister in this profession, carefully slung over one shoulder. Inanna would recieve the rites of her people in death, in the very least. At most, she would be returned to the living. Bellora knew that some deaths, if done through such means, had been reversed.

In any case, the regal Queen and Shaman of her tribe would recieve a proper burial and farewell.

Bellora knew who had done this, as she had come to late upon the scene. She saw Dalia as she crept away, smelled the stench of that Zaruk on her, and smelled the lingering pain and odor of the demon Lord on Inanna. Poor Inanna.

Bellora growled at the thought of this mad woman, running wild in Rhydin, attacking all she could. She had thought the woman was merely targeting those who knew and cared for Mara, but this Inanna was a stranger to Mara. Why kill her?

She would find out soon enough. She knew where Dalia was, and she was coming for her.
