Spike layed on the ground for hours and hours on end. His body slowly beginning to regain feeling. He sat bolt upright breathing heavily he looked around he stood up and looked around his body shaking. He stood up but as he did a glowing white and gold aura surrounded him putting an ancient powerful magic within the young man.

Spike took a few steps back going over what the necromancer said to him. "key....for a portal...I dont remember anything like that. Or ever being told that."

Spike ran into the town looking around and stopping people all around the city asking "Have you seen a shadow holding a golden glowing thing come through here." Most answers were "Get some help lad." Or just a slap in the face.

Spike stopped at the entrance to a building breathing heavily and sat down and closing his eyes.

It had been some time since Sha'uri had last seen Spike. It had also been some time since she had been into RhyDin to do anything. Oddly enough, she was in town today on a mission of mercy for the poor cook, who was ill with the flu.

Today was the usual day to get supplies for the school. Considering it took so long to accomplish, Sha'uri left Bri to do all the classes that day, for whatever he could manage to fill in for. She mused, with a warm grin, just what he would do and could well imagine that whatever she'd planned for the normal lessons were going to turn out anything but that ....not that she had any objections. On the contrary, she hoped a little mix up from the norm would help liven up the lessons a bit.

"I'll take a dozen of those and twelve cans of the beans....six bags of flour with one rye, three whole wheat, one flax and one corn meal...oh, and about three sugar. Oh, and I'll need some spices: Garlic in both powder and clove form.....lots of cloved garlic, too. Also, cinnamon, nutmeg, sweet basil, salt and pepper ...and peppermint."

She paused to look at her list when a slight commotion outside drew her attention. There in the street was a rather odd scene, Spike was stopping some old lady who for some reason got an odd look on her face, drew back her hand and promptly smacked him with it.

Blink. Her gaze slowly went back to the store owner, who had turned to see what she had witnessed across the street.

"Would it be all right if I just leave the list and come back later to pick this up?"

The owner nodded though kept looking at her and then Spike as Spike just kept going on his way, stopping several people as he went. The owner took the list as Sha'uri gave it to him and watched the woman walk out of the store, making a bee line towards the guy who got slapped.

Sha'uri followed Spike for a little while, watching what he was doing, hearing people tell him to get help or slapping him some more. Finally, she caught up to him as he paused in the doorway to a building. She was a few feet away as she glanced over the place, making note of what it was and where she was.., scrapping her foot along the ground so her voice wouldn't startle him.

"Spike" What's going on?"

"I-I dont know....Im supposed to be some kind of key to a different realm. Where a bunch of Necromancers are waiting to take back what they claim of this realm..." Stands up shakily..."That guy took my soul...but I am still here how is that' Where is briarus?" He looks around at the people looking at him "What are you doing here?"

She frowned, mulling the words round in her mind while her gaze searched that which most can't see....following the link connecting his soul.

"I'm not sure...on several things just yet....er, well, I mean, Bri was at the school taking over classes for me and I was helping Lyndra, the cook. She's ill and there were too many things needed from the market. Anyway it's hard to say just where Bri is right now. For all we know, he took Tina on a field trip of some sort."

A thoughtful pause was given, gaze darting around in search of Bri, before she continued.

"If they took your soul, are you sure you can't ...."

She stopped abruptly, looked round at the gathering of people and frowned some more. They weren't helping, just gawking at Spike.

"I don't think this is a good place to talk, Spike. Maybe we should go somewhere a bit more quiet. Ravensheart' or that bench over there?"

She nodded towards a circle of trees with a bench wrapped round their perimeter. It seemed private enough.

The half-elf walked down the streets listening to a few rumors of a ghost stealing souls. Dimitri was always up for a good fight against an undead foe. He followed his leads to this young man and Shauri. He walked a bit closer listening to the conversation from a distance grinning. His ears twitched a bit.

As she looked back to Spike and held a hand out to him with an offer of support .....since he did seem a bit shaky......she felt a rather awkward moment approaching as she sensed an intense gaze. The turn of her head in that direction, just a bit to gaze over her shoulder, caught the grin on Dimitri's face which caused her to remember her last few words. She hoped he hadn't taken them the wrong way. Her smile to him was genuine, color rising in her cheeks as she nodded a greeting to Dimitri.
