"The Elves show up when they please and the Humans are probably mixed up in some other conflict like they always end up." Growled Colonel Apollo, a member of the Apelonian race. The Apelonians instead of humans, matured on their world centuries ago much like the Kobolds representatives , sitting across the conference table.
"You are holding out on us, lizards. What is it you know about the attackers" About the fall of the Dynasty's forces upon their worlds?" Colonel Apollo was growing increasingly agitated in the room. His life was better spent ground pounding on some distant world for his race. Not in a room talking. A Kobold standing no taller then four feet, swayed his tail behind him slowly with a snarl from his snout. "The Galianstin Dynasty pushed their power too far this time and someone pushed back. They liked to nudge further, press harder and work themselves into things that didn't or shouldn't concern them. They were power hungry and clearly upset someone." Colonel Apollo uncurled a finger and pointed at the Kobold across the table from him. "You know, who this attacker is, speak their name little one. We will remove them and make them wish they were never born among the stars." The Kobold snickered. "Perhaps, that is exactly what the Galianstin Dynasty said shortly before their demise?"
An Apelonian moved quickly into the room and over toward Colonel Apollo's side upon all fours. "Sir...we've just received word that the Human ship that was supposed to meet here has been destroyed." Apollo perked a brow and turned his head. "That is what they get for sending a transport and not an armored vessel. Probably pirates." "No sir." Retorted the Apelonian soldier quickly. "Our long range scans show it was a carrier. There's not much left of it. General Dukar is sending one of our Destroyers to meet with the Human vessels to investigate who attacked." Colonel Apollo narrowed his eyes on the soldier a moment, then slowly turned his gaze over the table at the Kobold there. "The ones you spoke of? The ones the Galianstin Dynasty pushed too far" They did this, didn't they?"
The Kobold gave a slow nod of his head. "Unfortunate, but the Humans and Galianstin's do look similar. If they tried to hail the attacking vessel, no doubt they were seen as simply Galianstins. I should tell you now, that our destroyers and cruisers as of this morning, are being pulled back to our core worlds. Our outer colonies are being evacuated as we speak. The Kobold are not going to be seen as foe, like the Galianstin Dynasty was."
Apollo growled and rubbed a hand under his chin. "You know who attacks, who destroyed and cast the Dynasty into ruins. Yet you refuse to speak of them. Are you afraid, little one?" The Kobold snickered back with a lifting hand and wave of a small clawed fingertip at the Apelonian Colonel. "You would be too, if you knew their power and their ability. They are the best at what they do. They won't grant mercy to any they believe hold an alliance with the Dynasty. You'd be wise, to advise your General to usher your destroyers back to your core worlds for protection. Stay away from the Galianstin worlds. You'll only find trouble there, Ape. The Galianstin Dynasty, pushed too far against a foe they should never have crossed. You'd be wise, to stay clear."
Colonel Apollo growled and waved a hand as he slid down from the chair and moved upon all fours quickly for his waiting transport back to his ship in orbit. The Kobold Ambassador turned to one of his guards. "Signal the Cruiser in orbit, we're leaving. The Apes will learn, as will the others. You don't poke the beast and not expect to be bitten."
