Aja stood in the middle of her office, double checking the list in her hand. "Briefcase full of boring paperwork. Check. One annoyed employee.." she looked over at Christophe sprawled on the couch in the office, who groaned at the early hour and smiled. "Check. Kids all set. Check. Dragon's Lair all set. Check." Aja set the list down and sighed. "Come on, sleeping beauty, go roust the crew. We gotta get going." "Why in the name of Zeus are we up so early for?" he moaned and started to stand up. "I wanna go and get back." Aja's impatience made the man move a little faster. "Aye Aye, Captain." "Now that's more like it." Christophe was rewarded with a bright smile. As he went out, she checked her bags, making sure she had everything she'd need. With a final sweeping glance of the office, she shouldered her bag and headed to the Gypsy Queen, Tanner's pride and joy, and a damn quick sloop. She smiled fondly as she made her way up the gangway. A lot of good things happened because of this vessel. Once on board, she looked around at the crew, who stopped and stood at attention. "Alright boys. Let's go on account!" the crew gave a cheer and she gave them a smirk before heading to her quarters to stow her gear. Once squared away, she made for the bridge. "We're set for sail, Captain." "Excellent." Aja replied and watched her crew shove them off from the dock, sails unfurled and caught the wind. 'It's just a quick run. You'll be back in four days.' she reminded herself. As Christophe steered them away from land, Aja settled herself in to getting some work done so this could be a simple in and out job and she could get back home.
