The notice was nonexistent, the details not there. The call was one written in blood and those that sought the order thought only legend would be a hard road to follow from the very beginning. Who would those that aimed to dirty their hands in blood be? who they come of their own will or would they be led and sent to the house of corpses" Long hours of culling those inside took place, every sweeping blade and hateful carve aimed to cleave those that called his new base home on two. One man at the time, one man aiming to restore what had been lost to him and rebuild something long since forgotten even back home.

In the ruins of some old and decrepit building the clanging of weapons and explosion of gunfire sounded as the man cleared the denizens out and stacked their bodies for the prior when finished. the building ancient and falling apart but for now it was the perfect place out of sight and out of mind to those that would do him and those he hoped to welcome harm. He had left small clues behind as he killed the men and women he had been hired to execute. A trail of foot steps in the puddles of blood, a lead here, a trail there all leading to this place and the man sitting at a hard oak desk with hands cupping his mouth from planted elbows.

The hooded visage of the assassin waited and watched for those that may come to him....

A few nights ago Tyler had been confronted by a stranger in the back alley. He hadn't known the man's name, the only thing he knew was that he received a map and if he didn't follow it there were to be dire consequences.

Tyler arrived in the marketplace, which appeared to be the starting point of the map. Odd, he had heard of a murder here recently though he can't quite remember specifically where, must've slipped by under the whole fire scandal.

He kept following the map until it lead to a large building, the map clearly indicated to go through it, but the door was bolted shut. He looked around, scanning his environment until he spotted that the window was open. Tyler surveyed for ledges or any places he could grip to scale the building. Spotting a few he backed up and ran towards the wall, jumping last second and running up it a few steps, grabbing a high up deviation in the wall. He slipped his other hand onto another ledge-like deviation in the wall, slipping his left hand up thereafter and using the previous ledge to boost him into the window.

Inside there were torturing instruments which seemed bolted to the wall. In many of these torturing devices were dead men. Disemboweled, dismembered, and a more. He narrowed his eyebrows and headed downstairs for an exit. The downstairs was dark and even if the torches in the scones were lit, the lighting wouldn't have been sufficient to make it feel any less eerie. All along the walls there were iron pieces bolted which seemed like they would be used to chain prisoners, but the chains that should be holding prisoners lay on the floor. His eyebrows still narrowed he looked around and he found the door, locked. Tyler backed up a few paces and then ran into the door, busting it off it's hinges. He fully committed to the jump into the door and was left falling face first into gravel. He got up and brushed his jacket and pants off before reaching back into his pocket to look at the map. It seemed to be saying he'd have to travel to WestEnd.

Tyler had followed the map across a bridge, through the docks where he spotted another murder scene, and finally into WestEnd. He was nearing the end of the map trail now. He was walking around a path on the outskirts of town, but had to break off the trail and travel into the forest. After a ten minute hike he came upon an old, ruined building. He looked down at his map.

"This must be the place..." he murmured

The warmth of the sun bathed over the stones of the ruins, the leaves of the trees and the air that blew over the stone. It was a wide open birth before the building and the opening to the collapsed building resembled a cave mouth more than what had once been a meeting hall for people of different beliefs. The perfect place to hide a group of assassin's really.

Lounging on a rock with one leg bent and arm dangling over the collapsed wall was the mutation. He had been dozing in and out slowly before he heard the sounds of foot steps approaching and his eyes creased open and turned to the origin of the sound. The amusement and mirth on his face at the sight of the man was enough to send him off the edge and walking toward him. This would be such a fun day already.

The sun reflecting in dark brown patches of leather he grinned and crossed his arms over his chest not far from the man. "Yo! Nice of you to finally join us! How's that head feeling?" Altio the origin of the infection, the Pariah was sadly the man accepting recruits today.

He narrowed his brow and his eyes focused on the thing, disgust and anger apparent on his face. That abomination is the same that jumped him in the inn a few days prior. It knocked him unconscious and impersonated him, threatening to steal his lover away afterwards. He attempted to conduct this process without any violence, but he was prepared for any. Cracking his neck and knuckles he took a step forward.

"Where is this leader you speak of, abomination?" There was a hint of threat in his voice.

Shoulders hunched and stride steady, she rounded the corner about the time the Pariah rested his gaze on Tyler. Her hood lay set over her face until she reached the door. Claws of pink looked more like nails as her hand swooped up to pull the hood from her head entirely. Black strands pooled over her shoulders and danced upon her shoulders as slate eyes studied Tyler for a moment before she pushed passed him. Even in this light the woman's skin glowed like a beacon in the dark. She stood out like a sore thumb, except for when she chose otherwise.

As she entered the building pointed ears twitched to the sound of her surroundings before her gaze turned to Tyler. An Irish voice tumbled from her lips then," Normally one doesn't ask questions so rudely to those he seeks employment wit'." She glanced to the Pariah then and spoke," Would you kindly escort me to your employer, I am 'ere for an interview." Quincy was adorned in her common gear of armor, even now she wondered if perhaps she should have worn her mundane threads.

From inside the cave like opening of jagged, ripped and decayed building came the creak of wood that echoed along the inside of the vast building followed by the methodical falling of feet. "Altio, go find Alex and tell the lad we have guests. Stop terrorizing the lad and find something else to do." In the shadow the robed figure stepped into the sun light. Light blue robes lined in white and cast over with leather guards on the stomach, chest, shoulders and down his arms tied together by a red sash around his waist. A man of about six four and from the small amount of his face shown around the shadows of his hood he was in his early thirties.

A glance was given to the woman looking for work before they turned back to Tyler and he threw his arms open laughing. "Lad! I was almost afraid I was to gonna take fingers before you came." When he reached him he aimed to throw his arm around his shoulder and tug him toward the building he had came from. "Aye lass, I'm the man you're looking for. Come along and lets see what you and the bean sprout here have yeah?" His brow arched up and he pulled down the hood as a show of good faith to them while the free hand moved down to stroke his short beard. "Either of you drink rum' It is the best thing on these sorta hot days."

His stance was broken as he was pushed past. Brushing his hair to a side he puffed and inspected the glowing woman. "I don't seek employment from that freak." his voice rasping as he spat the last word. His gaze quickly rotated from the glowing woman to the pariah and a finger was pointed at him, his face taking on anger, there was a slight redness to all of his face and his eyes were locked on the thing.

"I have my life threatened once and that's no big deal. But as soon as you threaten the ones I care about it's gone to far!" The scorn was apparent in his voice "The man I met in the alleyway was pretty okay ya know...but you...you're just a sad pile of filth." he spat on the ground below the abomination.

Then the man he recognized from before walked out. He raised an eyebrow at the talk of taking fingers. The redness in his face slowly began fading as he was guided along by the robed figure. "Some rum would be a godsend." he said as he turned to look at the abomination behind him, hatred beaming from his eyes.

Quin looked towards Pariah and shrugged her shoulders. Not all understood the methods an individual could take. With a casual glide in her steps she started after the pair of men as if she was a shadow. Both arms folded behind her back beneath her cloak. At the question of rum her head tilted to the side and her head shook. "I don't drink or eat for that matter." Her species drew nutrients through other means.

Her mind raced over what she had learned of Tyler before she studied the other man with narrowed eyes. She had a bead on the type of man Tyler was, but this new individual puzzled her. He was kind and friendly enough, but there was something else about him that made her brow quirk. She stayed a few steps behind them, careful steps carrying her closer to the shadows where they were illuminated with her skin. Everywhere she went her glow cast light to unknown corners or crannies.

The Pariah crossed his arms and stared at their leader, he was loyal and obedient but he was just as much a threat as he was an asset to the order they were building. It was more a matter of it took time to earn complete loyalty and it was something he didn't have.

There was a glance back to the glowing woman and his eyes met her own before she shrugged. He would trace her with his eyes and that twisted abyss of his mind cataloged her shape, form and face. She was one he would remember for a while now. But he had been given orders and pulling his eyes away from her his arms dropped limply to his side always at the ready and he started off.

"Yeah yeah, whatever you say." It could have been to Tyler or his leader. But he left in search of Alex and rolled his lips loosely while his jaw cracked and popped. "I may just grab something to eat while I'm out too." He spoke just over a hushed breath before in the blink of an eye he was gone from sight with a trail of dirt whirling upward.

Alluring Inferno

She was there. She had been there all along. Swallowed up in the darkness. Not even the sun's rays touched her. She had came because she honestly did not know who the ones her student associated with. So, she came to see herself. Whether it was of her own free will would be unknown.

Silently she would observe them all. Drinking in the details and filing it away for later. Something would disturb the flow of light. She would be seen perching within one of the open windows of the building. Half in darkness and half in light. It was a choice to be seen. The fire in her eyes danced in amusement. Lips slowly curling into a smile. Leaning forward she would drop and tumble down. Landing on the ground with little to no sound.

Surprisingly enough she was not an assassin. She was a teacher and well her student would be along shortly. Clad in the robes of a mage the colors of fire. Pushing the hood back and with her hands laced together in front of her she bowed her head, "Hello..." She said quietly in a voice thick with an accent that was not immediately placed, "My name is Leda." She finished. It was best to announce who she was so they wouldn't jump the gun or sword, was it' Some, knew who she was. To others? Still a mystery.

She raised her gaze as the fire danced in her eyes and gave a friendly smile. Where was he anyway' She could not do this powwow without him and she still had a few lessons to teach him after all.

Lips slowly curled into a smile. Well, seems things were getting crowded. The leaves rustled and a slight thud could be heard. Chocolate brown locks hidden beneath the white hood. The uniform she wore would not be lost on those who knew. It fit the curvy form rather snug. Hugging that form like a jealous lover. If there were any weapons they were hidden from sight of course. Black soft leather boots crawled up her thighs.

She had heard and seen the call and came to answer. But she was not alone. He was never far from her side. She stopped at where the shadows just ended. Still out of sight but just barely. A glance behind her shoulder as emerald hues glanced back where he was. A brow raised in a question to the one with her, "So, what do you think?"

Asked quietly as she leaned against the tree and crossed her arms over that ample chest. Even with the standard uniform it was not enough to modesty hide those mounds. Something she used to her advantage many times of course. Using her looks was something she had learned early on.

Like her companion, she was very young, she was considered a prodigy from where she came from. Which is how she came into the job and became a full fledged assassin at sixteen. She would wait for him before she stepped out of the darkness. Her gaze would move over those she knew as she gave a nod and a wave. Despite her youth and pretty demeanor she was just as deadly as the rest of them. Never judge a book by its cover.

Much younger than his companion the boy stepped through the shadow with much less grace and know how than she did. Only perhaps ten if going by looks and red eyed as the undertone to that shoulder length black hair. A simple street rat by looks, rags sewn into loose fitting clothing he could grow into with few sparse patches of dried and faded blood through, even his foot wraps had stains from a splatter on them.

When he reached the young woman's side and looked around his hands cupped his eyes and he squinted against the bright light and the contrast to shadow. His voice low and high pitched at the same time somehow with a wheezing tone behind it. He would have quite the deep voice when he became a man. "I think it looks like a dump....Are you sure this is the right place?" He let his arms fall to his side and looked up at her. she had picked him up so he was stuck with her for now. Might as well make the best of it.

There were people here but that didn't mean anything, people were everywhere. He grabbed her clothes, being just past waist height sucks, and tugged on them slightly. "Hey, Enyo. This place feels weird....Let's go home." Premonition was his strong point, it had never lead him astray before. Why would it suddenly do so now"

Still smiling she looked down at him, "It may not look like much but yeah I'm sure this is the right place."

She'd promised him new clothes soon as this job was done and she had the money for it. She saw a younger version of herself in him. His looks were unassuming as well but he had worlds of talent. Raw natural talent that needed to be harnessed and shaped much like her own. A gloved hand ruffled his hair, "It's okay. If things get too heavy we'll bolt and find a place to stay and I'll get you new clothes, okay?"

She asked him as she kneeled down and pinched his cheeks. He was like the little brother she never had. In which she was an only child. But, you get it, "Come on let's go say hello."

Taking his hand in hers she would step out of the darkness and into the light. Within sight of them all. If it wasn't for the uniform her and Rane might look like just a couple of kids stumbling onto a super secret meeting. But that wasn't it at all. A friendly smile on her face that didn't quite reach her eyes as she lifted a hand and waved. She appeared relaxed and friendly but she was ever observant and ready to strike if need be.

He paused still with arm looped sharply around Tyler's neck and head turned toward Leda as she approached them. "Lass.....I told you about sitting on the windows, your going to draw attention to us hanging that thing out the window for willy nilly and her grandson to see." He pointed square to her rear and straightened his brow's arch flat. "Yeah yeah. Lad, this here pretty lady is Leda, Lass this is Tyler. And this young lass behind me is.....I never did get your name sweet heart." He motioned between the mage and his students to be before something caught his ears and they twitched slightly. Not a move turning toward the two children but eyes such a hard and cold grasp it choked the life from those that saw them.

"Oi....this ain't a day care for your kid lassy." He finally looked up haveing cut introductions and pleasantries off for the children. But the way the girl moved was strange, very similar to his own from the subtle motions of her dainty hand to the way her eyes seemed to be judging and prepping. But the little boy then stole his attention for a moment. It had been a long time since he saw that look he had under the surface, the look of someone who had killed. against his better judgement he waved them in curling his palm toward himself. "If your hear for a reason come introduce yourselves then." It was simple right?

An amused smile on her face as she looked at him. A slight bow of her head, "My apologies..." Said softly her voice trailing off. At the introduction she just grinned. She always seemed to be hiding something. She always seemed amused as well. It was pretty evident on her face, "Am I to be teaching them as well?" She asked as she raised a brow to him and tilted her head to the side a bit in curiosity.

Fire hues then danced over to those emerging from the darkness. She fell silent for now as she quietly observed them.

Gloved hand squeezed Rane's in reassurance as they stopped. Her gaze cut to Rane as she gave him a smile. Then looking back she was all business, "Maybe I should be upset you haven't heard of me but then again maybe it's for the better. I'm Enyo and this is Rane. He's not my kid but a brother all the same."

The introduction was simple but the way she said brother it had deeper meaning. Those who listened would know what it meant. It meant that he wasn't just another kid. He was like Enyo and the rest of them in some sort of a way. But that charming smile still remained as she pulled Rane along with her.

Tyler arched his neck to see who the assassin was addressing. He laughed under his breath about the comment regarding willy nilly, his grandson, and Leda's rear. He smiled slightly and gave an informal two finger salute. He initially raised his eyebrow and scowled ever so slightly at the comment of training, but he realized he had no right to protest being that he had almost no combat training. The scowl straightened out and his face was expressionless as he observed the many new people who had appeared out of the shadows.

An eyebrow arched when Tyler looked towards the robed man who seemed to be the leader. Just what was this guy planning to do with this group of shadowy figures?

Quincy

Quincy was lingering behind it seemed. Silver eyes flickered from their calm hue for a moment before she started after them. There was a glance back to Altio as she mused to herself," Heimskr barn, leita vi" y"varr tunga..." Then she looked back to Tyler and their leader. Her eyes turned to the new additions of the group, her eyes mostly taken aback at the sight of the child. Sure, her species started young in training too, but never that young. They liked their young to be at least settled into their final form before they started training. That way when the training came, there was no need to hold back.

At the mention of teaching her lips pursed and her nose crinkled on her face for a moment. She kept herself in check, keeping for the most part her expressions vague and unreadable. If she did make a face like just now, she'd make sure it looked as though she was scowling or noting something about their surroundings rather than what she over heard.

Was it her turn for introductions? She didn't quite know. But as her eyes drifted back towards those that gathered, she figured she'd get it out of the way for the moment, but what to say' Her lips parted as if she was going to give an introduction of length towards the others as they had, but all that came out was," Quin..." then her lips shut just as fast as they had opened.

Fiery hues slowly flicked over those gathered. Drinking in the details. Finally a nod in acknowledgement, "A pleasure to meet you all. Shall we?" The question poised with a raised brow as she followed after them. Along the way she would give a slight wave of her hand to light the torches along the wall. Not everyone could see in the dark after all.

Once inside she would move to sit on the nearest rock or couch or chair. Curling her bare feet underneath her. Leaning back comfortably as she would go back to her quiet observations.

A smile down at Rane to let him know it would be okay before she pulled him along with her. The boy really didn't have a choice. He had better chances of surviving by sticking to her hip like glue and being her shadow. Just how far down were they willing to tumble down the rabbit hole? Only time would tell. She was a curious girl after all.
