The fires of hell's forge were burning hot, fuled by the souls of the damned. The inferno blazed brightly as he shoved the Smelting pot into the flames. It was full of a mixture of scrap metals. mythril, gold, iron, steel, copper, nickel, and a few inidentified ores. He had mixed it purposely for many races of a magical nature could be subdued at leat in part with certain metal. There were magical properties as well. He wiped sweat from his forehead, watching the mixture melt down, giving it a stir to make sure it had blended, just a few more minutes. The heat was intense, Bulging muscles glistened with sweat, his hair matted to his skull, not that it had ever looked nice but it was less then flattering now than before. He readied the molds all twenty since each half had to be pourd seperately or else it would never work. He checked the box of hinges and clasps, all was in place. Was that metal ready yet' Almost. another stir told him a few chunks had yet to melt. Sweat was pouring from his back unnoticed to hiss as it dripped onto hot pokers, recently used to stoke the fires. Molds at the ready each a perfect half-circle. He muttered as he pulled the poy from the fire with his bare hands, feeling no pain. The molten stuff was poured and set aside to cool. Now cane the tricky part. Each collar had to be spelled for the enchantment of obediance to be part of the collars, not just some silly rune that could be scratched off. Gutteral rumblings some demonic tongue was spoken as he cast the magic, locking the charm into the collars, his brow knit in concentration, eyes half shut against the blaring heat. The metal was rapidly cooling and the magic sealed in. He quickly added a charm for indestrucability, then one to make it impossable for anyone to remove but the one who placed it. There would be no tampering with these puppies! The metal cooled her flipped the molds striking the back untill the metal half-rings fell out, with a mighty clatter. Hinges were then added as peices, two by two were joined, and latches. These latches woul lock instantly once they touched and would onlu come undone for the owner, not the wearer. these things must be done with precision or else it was a waste of time. Soon he had them. All ten of them. Obediance collars. He didn't care what Renna did with them. then as and afterthought one last enchantment, that they would be null, should she choose to try them in him. A grimace of satisfaction as the ugly little works were packaged. Renna had better bat him as promised. And he set of to the West End to drop of his infernal delivery. Even if he didn't get paid, the thought of what mischief these thing could cause made him smile.
