ABOUT THE STARLIGHT THEATRE The Starlight Theatre is a unique Rhydin treasure with a vibrant past stretching back more than seventy-five years. After closing its doors in 2007, it sat empty until it was bought at auction in 2014. It reopened in early spring 2015, fully restored and with new management.

The Starlight's fa"ade reflects its heritage with a carefully preserved 1940s-style marquee that stands more than three stories tall. The interior continues the retro theme with lush red velvet seating, restored woods, geometric carpeting and tile, and gilt accents.

Aric Delevingne

Date: 2016-10-04 20:49 EST
It had been quite a long time since Aric had gone to see a movie, and he was quickly getting into the holiday spirit, so he asked Lirssa if their date night could be catching one of the films playing at the Starlight Theatre.

He remembered seeing Fright Night as a child, staying up late to watch it on cable television when he shouldn't have. He got in trouble for showing it to his younger sisters, and felt bad when he heard Kaylee had nightmares from it. But being a good older brother, he went out of his way to display how he would protect her from anything that tried to take her, and would be braver than Peter Vincent.

With that movie still remembered fondly, it is the one Aric took Lirssa to see. She seemed to enjoy it well enough, though that was a constant for any activities they shared together. There were more movies that Aric also liked, so he would be sure to try and make a deal with Lirssa to come back to the Theater more than a few times this month.
