The Academy's Guild Hall is home to many things. A full service bar and stocked kitchen. Access to the school's digital archive to reference information and texts. Three large tables, able to seat thirty people quite easily take up much of the main floor upon entry.
Beside the bar, in it's own personal alcove is a cork board. On this board are job requests brought to Arcanum Academy's door. Some come from private citizens who want magical problems dealt with discretely and professionally. Others are city residents seeking help with problems as trivial as a Brownie squatting in their larder to demonic entities turning their basements and attics into planar entryways. While others still come from buxom shop keepers needing help with out of control plants. Every day there is something new to be found upon the board. Some are quite simple and handled in a matter of minutes to hours, while others are dangerously complex and can take several days if not longer. Arcanum Academy takes 15% on all profits to mediate possible damages to private/personal property and dispute any potential reparations. This is a job completion processing fee.
On the left wall is a stairwell leading to the second floor where equipment and other adventuring gear may be stored. Also on the second floor are several bed rooms that can be rented for the night by non-members. Each room is outfitted with a healing shrine to help those whom stay the night with injuries sustained completing their jobs. The second floor is home to the S-Class Jobs board. These jobs are the most dangerous of any that can be taken, one alone could take a month to complete. These jobs should never be taken lightly and are meant for only the most experienced of individuals.
