The first event to celebrate Rhydin's Children and Youth, this year, will be held outside the city of Rhydin at the Hatton Point Resort, owned and operated by Aja Bird. Transportation will be provided by the RTS. Tents and cabins, located near the Children's Play Park, will be available free of charge on Monday and Tuesday night, 10 and 11 April.

Hatton Point's Theme Park, Zoo, and Aquarium will be open free of charge on Tuesday. Keepers, docents, one of the zoo's veterinarians, and a marine biologist will be on hand to help with tours and questions.

The S.S. Mini-Mate will be moored at its usual location in the park. For those that want to spend the day as a pirate, sea captain, or just fish off the shore, costumes and supplies are available. You might even see a mermaid!

The Kids' Castle Theater will be hosting an archery tournament and a talent contest for several age groups.

The Siren's Song hibachi restaurant will be open and food there is free for the day!

The Shanachie players will be out and about entertaining the crowd!
