Amid now-daily reports of strange activity in the City, up to and including an airport on Stars End that was held up for three hours this afternoon by a man with no pilot training whatsoever who insisted he'd been given a job flying the largest of the dirigibles, a pop up party seems to have formed in the City Square….
On Friday, July 20 at approximate 9:00 p.m. by the eastern clock, the streets surrounding the City Square were decorated very suddenly and seemingly out of nowhere with strings of lights and brightly colored streamers.

Not there one moment and fully formed the next, the streets were lined with vendors selling all manner of curious foods, drinks and wares…
-A booth occupied by friendly looking bear like creatures selling a red beverage purported to give its customers extra courage and energy, maybe even an extra bounce in their step… -Curious little blue men in white caps hocking their "world famous Smurfberry Pie".... -A pair of talking dogs who ate as many of their "Scooby Snax" as they sold.... -A different set of bears altogether giving away picnic baskets only to steal them back at random…
At eleven p.m., a fireworks display exploded without warning over the festival. As party goers were staring up at the sky, a band assembled in the city square, treating everyone to an impromptu concert that lasted well into the night….

Impromptu street party! Pursuant to the Perchance to Dream Again storyline, a whole host of 80s Saturday Morning Cartoon Characters have flooded the city for one night only. Smurfs, Snorks, Scooby and the Gang, the Berenstain Bears, the Jetsons...they’re all here in the City Square selling their wares. By morning, they will all have disappeared again, leaving nary a trace of their appearance, not even the errant discarded streamer.
