13 December 2017 at 9PM by the Eastern clock, the ground floor of the Observatory Complex will host the Create a Date auction. Come out and have some fun for the benefit of Rhydin's youth and children's charities. A light supper, desserts, and beverages will be provided in the cafe.
In addition to the usual things like a selection of meat, cheeses, and condiments to make sandwiches the following specialty items are available:

Technomagic Studios has created the lighting effects for the evening. The ceiling and walls are decorated with soft blue toned lighting and twinkling snowflakes. Rows of padded chairs are set up to face the catwalk, which runs half the width of the main room, to allow bidders a good view of their potential dates.
For those without a plan for a date, there are some options including dinner for two at Nicole's Bistro, dinner and a show at the Shanachie Theater, and dinner with a spa date at Arcasa Spa and Resort.
