Myllyanna Lotus

Date: 2012-09-11 21:55 EST
The entourage of the Onyx Lotus appeared in a sudden burst of arcane energy, and just as quickly as they had arrived, Chong the the others immediately went to work, securing the area.

As the sentinel and his men acted, the Mistress of ShinKa slide from her coach a moment, as the area was carefully taken in.

"Mistress, are you sure this is the place?" asked Chong.

"As sure as I am, that this is where I would make my final stand, if I was as desperate and foolish, as he had become. So yes, Chong. I believe this is, as you aptly stated 'the place', if you would and to add to my beliefs, this is where their last stand was made, the last time some fool decided to try and take the city for themselves. A last stand that this current fool had been a part of."

"Mistress we are across from the Tow..."

"Town Hall, yes Chong I am very aware of that. And despite your rather astute and quite obvious perceptions, we are catty corner to the Town Hall, thank you. Over there is Koc Holdings, and across that building to the south, the Chamber of Commerce. Yes, I believe this place is where we need to be, and where our snipe will be led to."

The Mistress then shifted her focus, moving towards a chair seated upon a riser that had been set up, where her coach had once been. A hand lifted, as a long nail slid slowly across an arm of the chair. An inquisitive expression took hold of the Lady.

"Shift this to the left, a tad....No make it the right, about two steps or so. Then move it forward a pace, and it should be fine."

The riser, and chair were moved accordingly, as the Myllyanna took her seat, motioning Chong to her side once more.

"Things will soon become hectic my sentinel. So be sure to remain close. We will not intervene in any capacity, do you understand" We are to simply watch, and then collect that which is mine, when the event has seen its conclusion. And then we will take our leave."

Chong bowed deeply, "Of course Mistress!"

Quietly, a techno-magi erected a barrier, keeping the entourage of ShinKa tucked away from the prying eyes Rhy'Din was well known for.

Satisfied with the work, the Lady directed her attentions westward, as Chong and the others followed her gaze.

"Energy, Chong. A rather large output, and intake."

Towards the south that gaze of hers shifted, "Demonic there, as well. Very disciplined no less, and familiar. Yes, from WestEnd, no less."

"It will be soon, Chong. Quite soon."

Myllyanna Lotus

"What was that?"

"What was what, mistress?"

"There Chong, to the west."

"What do you mean, Mistress" I see nothing to the west, save the lights of the city."

The puzzled expression of the sentinel remained, as the Mistress of ShinKa lifted herself from that rather comfy chair of hers to descend the riser, as she now faced the west properly.

"Hmm, forgive me Chong. While you are invaluable to me, I do forget at times that you are not sensitive to particular magicks, and signatures of energy."

The surprised expression turned into one of absolute shock, as Chong quickly bowed as lowly as he possibly could. "Mistress! There is NOTHING to forgive, ever! I serve you, always!"

Following the sentinel, the others of the Lotus that were in attendance did the exact same thing as Chong had done.

Before anything else transpired the Lady waved a hand aloft, "Rise all of you, there will be time for adoration later, when our business has been concluded here. Till then remain vigilant, as I am sensing a shift in the winds..."

The gathered went back to whatever tasks they had been set upon, leaving Myllyanna and Chong facing west, atop the building.

A shift in step now had the Lady facing the south west more so, as a brow lifted upon the face of Chong. "Mistress?"

"It seems Chong, that the game is afoot."

"Afoot, Mistress?"

"The snipe has decided upon another venue, and for a good reason it seems. Yes....a very good reason. I would have seen this sooner, as he not been pummeled as such by the Lady Ravenlock."

"Mistress?"

Pulling a small pouch thin air it seemed, the Lady quickly tugged at the small draw string. A soft heft of the pouch in hand, as Myllyanna then pulled her hand back and with a sweeping motion, let loose the sparkling dust that was held within the pouch as Chong watched on.

A small cloud of sparkled dust floated before the pair, as the Mistress of ShinKa spoke softly in a language Chong was completely unaware of.

Immediately, the dust reacted to the Lady's words as it began to swirl, and swirl, looking very much like a small tornado. This lasted for a few moments, as the Lady then spoke once more, causing the small end of the funnel to rise, and the opened end above to lower, giving the impression that the small 'tornado' was eating itself at both ends.

That was until the small end pierced the middle line, reaching for the sky once more, as the open end continued to descend. Another command, as the ends reversed again, and then once more and finally the funnel cloud burst with a loud crack.

Chong remained where he was still taken by surprise, as the dust slowly began to descend before them. The brow of the sentinel raised more so, as he began to notice something.

That the dust had begun to take shape of something. No, make that shapes of something.

"Mistress what are those....wait, those are" Buildings?"

A wave of hand, quickly cut the man off.

More and more, the dust had taken shapes of various size and volume. And with each moment more, it became ever more the clear, as Chong gasped aloud in recognition of what was now before he, and the Lady.

"That Chong, is where we will await and snipe, and his pursuers."

"Mistress that place!" But, there is activity all around there! Why would he pick that specific area" I don't doubt you, I promise! But this seems strange to me."

"Below the fountain in the center, what do you see my sentinel, hmm?"

Chong's eyes shifted, as the dust continued to take shape. As it stood, he could easily make out the market place, and its grand fountain in the center. The Urashima building, also known as 'Yotsuba's Cake Shoppe', and even the old Bon Bon, among other venues as well. Yet the dust continued, even below the market itself.

What it showed caused the man's eyes to widen, as he looked back to the Lady once more. "Mistress, is this now" Or what is to come?"

"That Chong my dear, I cannot say. If he unleashes it upon those gathered, or the public in general, or if he is stopped, it is not my place to say. But it will happen there, that is what the shifts have told me, and that is where we shall go. That is where we shall collect our payment, as well. So ready everyone to go, because as you already stated, that is a very active area currently."

Barking orders to the gathered, who quickly went to work, the sentinel turned to the Lady once more, "Will we intervene?"

"No we shall not, Chong."

"Mistress, may I ask why' We intervened in the valley, earlier."

"Because Chong, this is no longer an issue of chance and probabilities. This is as someone I once knew would say, 'The 3rd reel.' or something along that phrase."

Looking to the south west once more, the Mistress of ShinKa spoke once more.

"This is nothing less than, Hitsuzen."
