Myllyanna had spent most of the day looking at her table as whispers floated off the whiskers of Ming and Ling to her ears. Her gold dipped nails tapped on its stained wood, over and over again each step that could come. But this, was one player ....with no methodology it was best to expect the unexpected, plan for the unplanned. Just how many steps would she need to keep ahead"

-Upstairs-

Jun sat back rather comfortably in an oversized recliner under a large picture window at the end of the massive hall way. This hall, being on the upper highest of three stories, was the family wing and was rich with dark woods and crimson carpet. Gilded and lacquered art decorated the walls and many small marble topped tables lavishly reminding those that walked past them not only of the family's history, but quiet wealth. The family hall was easily wide enough for four men to walk side by side, and for now the amount of activity within its walls was the exact reason for it.

Jun lounged idly folding and shaping small bits of paper between his ash colored fingers while one of his newest young friends waited with him but watching servants moving boxes in and rearranging furniture on one of the farthest rooms. At first there had not appeared to be a room but before the frenzy, a pair of valets removed a tapestry with a pair of golden fish from the wall. Carp, Junbao had said as if reading his friends mind. Beneath the tapestry was just more panel, but the deft hands of trusted household servants, the catches were triggers and the panel plucked from the wall. Just as it was whisked down the hall, another set was emerging around the corner with a door which was put into its place.

Junboa never explained a thing except that his mother had asked he be a presence there to assure the household staff worked quickly and quietly. It was only when the taller dark haired man stepped into the river of motion that his eyes flickered up and sent the gentleman a smile.

Garet had just returned to the keep, several small books tucked under the crisp texture of his winter jacket. He'd been on his way to his suite when he'd found most of it missing and being carried away. He had been trying to politely, even though he was on the verge of annoyance, to ask what the hell was going on. Each time he had thought he was going to be able to ask, they would never meet his eyes and drop their head even lower should he try to meet theirs instead.

"You have been elevated in station, most will not show you the disrespect of looking you in the eyes no matter what you do." Jun almost felt bad even as he smirked secretly teasing his former private teacher, but then Garet had been with them long enough now, he caught on to many of the quirks and nuances of the mixing culture quickly.

"All of them?" Garet asked as he quickly snagged something from a passing box heading into the room. He looked across the wide hall and saw Junbao's door, and next to it Ami's with its little tiny name plate Jun had painted a happy little bird on when he was very small. It was rather out of place here, but Ami had been like an older sister to Jun and would display it forever proudly. He turned back to the only open door, his room. Even though it was about forty feet away, the only other door on this hall was that of the Lady's.

"No, but most. Mother had ordered your room moved" closer. Your old suite is currently being remodeled. Mother said it was needed for company."
