It was a cool, calm, and refreshing night in the World of Darkness. Here in the pinnacle of the lost, universe traversing, and all around drop off point to which all of the galaxy seemed to coorespondingly attach itself to. This world...This world of Rhy'din. Our Story begins...

You are a Vampire, a creature of the night. Possessing bizarre and strange powers of the blood. A Kainite, a descendent of the original vampire, the original murderer. Cain, or as the Kainites refer to him as Kain.

No one knows how you arrived here, or why. The means and reasons remain a mystery as of yet. Did your sire, sign some pact with mages, or perhaps you have become an unwilling pawn on a game board meant for the Powers That Be. Or perhaps you grab the wrong Uratha and the stepped too far sideways. Perhaps you are under the influence of the Dreams, or perhaps some other thing has enscorcelled you to this land.

What ever the cause, you know the effect and should perhaps begin by establishing yourself a haven. Or perhaps a clan, maybe your sect. Whether you be Camarilla, or Sabbot. Perhaps even an Anarch, whatever the case my be. You know that a lone Kainite in an unfamiliar setting is never a good thing.

Well Child of Kain...What are you waiting for?

Turbulent nightmares crackled through her mind as she slumber pitifully unpon the ground. What had happened, she remembered chasing a lupine through the twisting tunnels of her haven. Then there was nothing. as if she had been placed into torpor, with the ease of a child breathing air into it bossom.

Her eyes, opened, they were glazed over and it was evident they had been sliced out long ago. The area around her was moist. The dripping of some water. Could be heard, "Was she in a cave. Perhaps the lupine had bested her and left her as a warning within her own sewers.

Could that be where she was. Getting to her feet, It took a momment for her to feel her away to the wall. It felt of stone, uncarved. the markings of her haven walls were not present which seemed to only sow confusion in the Young vampires mind. Where was she and how did she get here?

Her only hope now rested in her ability to find another of the Kine.

The first thing he heard was laughter. Children's laughter. That didn't make sense, he was safely tucked away in the Islands waiting for his audience with the Baron. So why did he hear kids" He opened his coffin, only to find it was held fast. He frowned and dug into his pocket, drawing a silver stake and using it to pry open the door. What he fell out into was....strange. He had escaped a closet, and it was night time.

He looked around, analyzing his surroundings. He was in what appeared to be an abandoned shop. Cobwebs, loose floor boards, rotting food. Yep, abandoned. He peeked out of the boarded up windows and saw some odd looking children playing in the street. Cobblestone roads" What kind of place was this.

He took a moment to think, then started quietly moving things in front of the door. He knew the door would be boarded from the other side, but he didn't want to take any chances. Last thing he needed was angry parents chasing him with damn torches and pitchforks, or something to that effect.

Selena looks around her at the students of the dance studio that she has been asked to do a front flip spin in to a black flip. A move easy enough for her. Moving to the back of the class room. Her feet begin to run beneath her towards the mirrors. Pushing off just as she reaches some mats on the floor, her hands meet the blue plastic. Instinct kicks in and she moves through the air. The spin in to a back flip comes easy enough. The back flip though almost sends her into the mirrors. Instead she moves through the mirror and lands at the mouth of a cave.

"What the hell?" her eyes scan the area around her and sees nothing but trees and the night sky. "Hello?" a slight raise of the voice to see if anyone is around. Pulling her left glove up from the fallen position around her wrist. Shaking her head at thinking about her appearance at a time like this. Slowly she begins to move to the trees. Trees were safer in her mind. At least she knew she could use some of the dance moves to bounce off them to avoid attacks she could see.

A deer running by makes her hiss. Why would a deer be running by so fast? Shaking her head at her thoughts. She really did need to figure out where she is. Not worry about deer or her clothes. Though she does pull at her arm bands subconsciously.

A chance Meeting for the Blind...

For those who could see, this cave would comdemn them to an end justly deserved of those who wandered into the deep of the shadows. Never know what what just creep out from behind the corner, or bestanding mere inches away from you. But to those without sight...The, Visually impaired one might say. The blind, for those who are crude, they, even without there sight may find themselves lost. But For a vampire, a chance of freedom for the abyss had just placed itself up the chess board.

There was a cool breeze that entered into the cave. It brought with it, the delicate small of night time, the cool breeze of flower to whom had drawn within themselves to await mornings light. The simple babbling nature of the brooke not to far from the cave. Wafting the tanging sweet smell of abolescent sweat, as the dashing nature of hoove beat into the distance.

A world turned Right Side Backwards...

One could only ponder the natur of Nature, but when it came to the child of Kain. The abomination to natures will. There wasn't much to question to it.

A dog would lower his head and raise its hind quarters, emiting a low growl. The tell-tale signs of a warnig. A cats fur, would strict out on end, hiss, maybe growl deep within its chest. And even a deer...Yes, even a deer would react differently to a Kainite.

Darting, inbetween the foliage, around trees, and for its life. The Doe had fled the Dancer in an ellegant style to be envied. As though it were a moving art piece. (Phys. Nimble 4)

All boxed up, and no where to hide...

24.

That was all that was on the simple door. It had three maybe four pieces of old thick oak, wheather from year of enduring the harsh elements. There were litlle markings like that of a hand and a knife carving names, and forget me not into it.

The house had been burned down years ago, but the creature, if at all it could be called that, would maybe never know why. The laughing, and playing of children outside was easy heard through the broken glass, and cobwebbed interior. Like an old lady basement. Dust, rust, bug, an old rug, and plenty of distatsteful furniture some no fused over with plastic.

Evident that the fire had started upstair but had at least been put out before any heavy damage had been done. If this were a cinematic the camera would pan away from our creature in the duty living room, and end stop only once the boarded over door could be seen. Slowly zooming in on the number.

Auspex was a grand thing to have when one was blind, It didnt replce being able to see but it did help when it could. On her feet and one hand to the wall, she took a amount while walking after the direction the scent had been so luckily brought her way on the crisp cool breeze.

Exercising her will, Her appearence changed to match what she had once looked like, but it was only a mirage, and image that could only fool the mind of the indiviual who were looking upon her visage in her presence a photo, or video viewed after she had left would only reveal her true form.

Caustiously she made her way toward what she hope was the exit, and not danger.

The door was barred as best as he could without drawing attention to himself. He looked at himself, just to make sure the make up was in tact. It was, his old skin held the ink in nicely. He looked up to see some holes and char marks. In fact, everywhere was charred. He blinked and shrugged, dusting himself off and ducking underneath a fallen piece of floor board against the wall. If someone were to look in now, it would be difficult to see him.

He needed a plan. He couldn't just sit here, and as per decorum might dictate, he hadn't eaten, since he thought him and the Baron would be sharing in some fine cuisine. That being said, by tomorrow midday he'd be hungry, and he'd need to feed tomorrow night. And he couldn't just feed in public, that'd draw suspicion. He needed a plan.

He thought carefully. Maybe the house had some squatters. Or maybe a rat. He'd eat a rat. No shame in eating what he needed to to survive. With that thought, he left his small encavement to find something. Maybe there was something up stairs. He was steady enough to keep his footing and not make much noise, and certainly not more noise than an old broken house in the wind.

He hoped he'd find something to eat up there.

The doe's elegance caught her attention before the growl did. Her instincts to run though kick in. She quickly moves back towards the mouth of the cave. Back tracking to the cave seems like a good idea. Her body aching to do a leap. Slowly her legs come up and she does a leap through the air towards the mouth of the cave. Landing to the left of the cave and rest against the rocks.

Auspex comes in to play in the form of heightening her sight. She looks to see if she spots what growled in between the trees. Her hands shaking slightly with the need to show the thing that she is not something to mess with. She may use dance moves to trick it but it would probably work. Slowly shifting her wait from one foot to other. Slowly looking behind her in to the mouth of the cave.

Her mind playing tricks on her, she thought she saw a shadow on the wall coming towards her.

Choice words...

When the Dancer had finished her whole routine, she would be able to take into account the animal that was never there. Her mind may be playing tricks on her simply because this was an unknown place, and an unknown time.

But alas even as the creature had never been there did not make an excuse for what was there, making her way out of the cave was the figure of a women maybe mid to late twenties or so her appearence would garner such information.

The cool night air dancing lightly around them. Seeming to invite an exchange of words.

All boxed up, and no where to Hide...

The charred skeleton, nay that is too harsh. The thin blackened skin, with touch's of white upon his face. Set in an attire to masq his true visage. AS if tim burton had, had a hand in its creation. Made it way up the stairs a sneaky as possible. The creaky stairs, (Stealth Rating of 2 or higher required for passing undetected.) would give way and make noise to things that were heavier then a small child.

But indeed, as one would look up the stairs, open cans of food were present. And the higher up he went, the more prominent the smell of low self image, and failure became apperent.

As she approached the mouth of the cave. The scent of adolescent sweat became stronger, and seemed to move closer to her. Perhaps by accident. Drawing on the teachings of her mentor, she stretched out with her sense to see if she could pinpoint the aura of the individual. (Relent, or Challenge)

Her Mask was still in effect and would hopefully, be more then enough to keep any prying eyes from seeing her true form. (Relent, or Challenge)

BUt if all else failed she would simply have to open her mouth and speak. Though she would lurk in the shadows a moment longer.

He tried to go up them stealthily, but to no avail. {Challenge failed, not enough Stealth.} He fell straight through them, loudly and almost painfully. He sighed and was quite unsure if he was going to make it out of this new hole he had made for himself. The suit was hopefully not ripped, and his hat was hopefully in tact. Finding those was a pain.

He wasn't about to waste the blood and effort needed to obfuscate, instead he just hoped his skin and suit would provide enough protection. Any loose boards were going to be pulled over him, seeing as loose boards didn't require a large effort to move.

Seems he was stranded now, stuck in a hole. Well this was turning out to be a great night!

The woman came in to view and she did not notice anything off about her. A scoff escapes before, "Who are you and where are we?" Her Latina attitude surfacing and making her look angry. She is really in no mood to play around at this point. All she wants is to go back home to the dance studio. Placing her hands on her hips and states the woman down. For all she knew this could all be an illusion that someone thought would be funny.

She could not really make out much details except it was a woman.

All Boxed up, and no where to Hide...

It was a distinctive thing to hear the laughter of children suddenly stop, as their attentions were drawn to the house. ANd like moths to a flame, they stared and lingered only moment in a unannymous thought of curiousity. They were upon the windows with haste prying their big child like eyes through the dusted, broken, and remaining windows.

One thought he saw something move at the stairs so they all began to look in the vincinity to those freshly broken steps that led up the interior. The voices seemed to be incomprehensible at the moment. But nosey childern was now the least of the Kainites worries.

The squatters up stairs, a drunken hobo wearing next to rags. A worn out oversized sweater and a pair of sweat pants to match. One of the elastic bands around the ankles was no longer functioning. Maybe a hole in the knees, and the smell of piss, alcohol and feces was ever more prominent as the individual that could be called a man made his way towards the broken stairs.

Approaching the newly discovered individual, her hand still present on the wall. It would seem her luck was tunring around, she had not only found someone near her location. The individual in turn was also a vampire. So tobin would be out with it as quickly as she could.

"My name is Tobin Frost, I am Clan Nosferatu." Awaiting a response, she removed her hand from the wall and placed them harmlessly crossed before her chest.

Damned kids. Damned stairs. And what the hell, something was coming after him' That was a funny thought. He drew one of his silver stakes, certain that anybody looking might be very, very confused about what they'd see in the stairwell. He looked like a painted, well-preserved corpse in a suit after all. Maybe he'd been dumped there as a prank? He figured his disguise would hold up, considering how cunningly he'd been working on it. {Attempting Disguise to appear to just be an object used in a practical joke.}

Of course, if that failed, he could always play it off like he fell from the sky. Perhaps he could confuse anyone who got to close with an elaborate, yet fanciful tale of how he fell from the air. {If confronted, Social Challenge based on how Beguiling he is naturally.}

A tilt of her head to the side before laughing, "Est's seguro como el infierno que no se parecen a un Nosferatu." Noting the change in stance, there is another roll of her eyes. "I am Selena Rivera and I am Clan Toreador," smiling to herself. Stretching to let her muscles know they should still be working for her. A quick look around, "Do you think there is anything to eat, amiga?"

All Boxed up, and no where to Hide... (Disguise attempt Successful)

Eyes at the top of the stairs peered down to the crack. There was something there, but the Hobo couldnt properly make it out. Giving only a moments pause.

"Damn kids...Always breakin in here, an' leavin shi' lyin' 'bout." The rest would trail off as the person headed back towards his mite ridden pallet of dusty and decaying blankets.

She pretended to look at the Toreador. "Well, Serena. I just got here, At least I awoke here." Her ears twitched, She attempted to use her Auspex to locate anything with a heartbeat.
