It seemed almost lifeless, abandoned, and yet some luminosity filled the chasm and dales of the inner hull. Lose cords and cables of several idle machinery floated inches off the bitter cold metal floors. Like the small fungus that drifted deep within the oceans depths, so too did the crumbs of dust clusters moving about the vessel with no set route. The low hums of the ships engines could be heard over the silence of its lifeless appearance.

Slowly this small ship drifted into the underbelly of the azure planets orbit, quite a beautiful site from orbit, only groupings of urban lights lit up the darkness until the morning suns radiance pulled back the dark curtains of night to reveal sapphire oceans, seas, and green earth"..Rhy"Din. As light broke through darkness, beams of light flowed through the forward port windows of the ship showing the silhouette of a human figure wrapped in a hefty crimson electric blanket floating in a zero-g environment.

The vessels AI could sense the ships tolerance for the suns high temperature and casted the polarized port shades down over the windows, and activated the crafts o-zone filtration cloak. The ship altered itinerary to gradually drop into the planets ambiance to make a swift landing without damage or impairment to the metropolitan surroundings of the planets shell. Slowly obstructs within the ship began to gist towards the metallic floors as gravity took its course. Even the human like figure began to descend.

Air began to envelop the vessel as it came nearer and nearer to sinking from orbit. Friction caused the air to heat up around the ship and cause it to ignite into a great blazing projectile bound for the planet underneath. Suddenly, the drop. Two gargantuan booms sounded the complete sky as the craft dropped from the sound barrier; no uncertainty the creatures and populace below could heed these distortions.

The craft ablaze surfed across the sky for hundreds of miles until it glided awkwardly over cities and mountains, inching closer and closer to the land until there was no ground to land on, only water. Water trailed into the firmament for hundreds of feet as this craft gradually came to an impeding halt; the external hull still had a ginger glow from the smoldering descent.

Curled in a corner of the ship still slumbering laid the man who waited so long to come home to his kin and metropolis he cared for so much. Loved ones waited for what seemed like years for his safe return. Sunburst Orange eyes revealed themselves as he came to, feeling the planets gravity hugging him to the ships floor and the slow wake of the ocean rocking the ship gently, a smile swept across his face? Alas, Syn was home.
