"In the day we sweat it out on the streets of a runaway American dream At night we ride through the mansions of glory in suicide machines Sprung from cages out on highway 9, Chrome wheeled, fuel injected, and steppin' out over the line " - Bruce Springsteen Born To Run Adrian's story of her parents was almost cliche and typical. Something you'd see in those old romance movies. Good girl meets bad boy. They fall in love and hot have a hot passionate affair. What the movies don't show you is that sometimes it results in a child. That's where Adrian came in.

Adrian's mother was the typical Southern good girl. Raised on the family farm with a stern religious upbringing. Her mama had a sunny disposition and was as sweet as that tea you're drinking right now. Adrian's daddy came from the wrong side of the tracks. A delinquent always getting into trouble. They'd met in school and he was drawn by her light and she was drawn by his darkness. Of course their love was frowned upon. There was no way in Hell that Adrian's grandparents would let their innocent daughter be tainted by the bad boy Incubus. But being young and in love they defied all odds. A regular couple of rebels.

It wasn't a happy ending though. As soon as he knocked up Adrian's mom he split. Adrian's mom left alone as she was shunned by everyone that knew her. Not letting it get her down she worked hard and alone would bring Adrian into the world. She raised Adrian the best that she could. Not unlike how she was raised but not as strict. She left Adrian to make her own choices and would only chastise her for the wrong ones.

Somewhere in her teenager years Adrian's daddy came back. Looking like the rebel bad boy his mama had fallen in love with. Rolling up in a 1980 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with his hair slicked back, that killer smile, black leather jacket and boots, and white t-shirt and tight jeans. Her mama fell head over heels for the man again and he couldn't seem to stay away from her. Adrian didn't see a reason to bear any ill will if her mama didn't so she welcomed her father with open arms.

Since her mama worked hard Adrian didn't have a regular upbringing that most Southern girls did. When left to be babysat by her male neighbors they began to teach her about cars. Mostly because she had shown an early fascination with the huge mechanical beasts. Spending her days learning the ins and outs of different vehicles from American muscle to imports. Then, she learned how to fix and replace parts. Her mama saw no harm in it as skills such as that would get her far in life.

Needless to say Adrian's dad was surprised and angered by the fact that his little angel was crawling around covered in engine grease and other fluids from cars. He didn't approve of it and wanted her to be delicate like her mother. That didn't sit well with Adrian. It wasn't until he blew the tranny in the Trans Am and Adrian replaced it in a week that he finally saw her potential. It was then that he began to support her passion and hobby.

The young Southern belle who was a bit rough around the edges did catch the eye of a few school mates. Puberty was interesting for her since both her parents didn't know if she would inherit any of her daddy's abilities. Well, suffice to say she did. It was an awkward and embarrassing time but her daddy taught her to control herself and not let any accidents happen. Because, killing a boy you're necking with is never good no matter how you spin it.

After she had grown up she began to work in shops. First as an apprentice just helping around the shop but she quickly was assisting in repairing and restoring vehicles as well. Adrian's drive and dream of owning her own shop kept her going. Soon, it became a reality. The shop she was working under well the owner had passed away. He treated Adrian like the grand daughter he never had. In his will he left the shop to her. She renamed it to AJ's Auto Shop and promptly moved to Rhy'Din. Hoping to drum up business and make a name for herself.
