For those interested readers"

Samael Mortis: Shadows rose like a black flame. Samael was present. He sighed heavily, grateful for the lack of company in the inn...These were dark times indeed for the man. He sat in a table near the door and reclined against the wall. What will I do' He asked himself...What can I do...

Andromalius: Drew appeared, sitting on the balcony as if he'd been there along...He wore a red t-shirt (tucked in) a brown belt, black jeans and dress shoes...He observed Sam in his desperation. Pity...He would wait a minute to see if Sam noticed him.

Samael Mortis: Resting his head on his hands the God of Death would've wept had he been capable...unfortunately he wasn't.

Andromalius: Hopping from the balcony to the floor, Drew bent over to try and look at Sam's face.

Samael Mortis: Busy mashing his eyes into his palms he had no clue that Andrew was even present.

Andromalius: Sitting down across from the destitute, he asked, "So what do you think you're gonna do, Sam?"

Samael Mortis: He recognized the tone...the voice...Hadn't been paying attention. Was it' Could it?" Looking up to his brother's face. "Andrew..." They hadn't spoken in centuries...not since Sam had punished the people of Sodom and Gommorah.

Andromalius: "Sam, what?s got you so down" Just follow your heart." Drew offered comfortingly, patting Sam's hand.

Samael Mortis: "I don't know if I can though, Drew..." He paused, "I've been thinking about it. I really have...but if I take Him up on His offer...what else would I do with my life" My existence" I would be terminal...another victim of fate...Just like the rest of these people..." Sam sighed. Such conflict...

Andromalius: "I don't know what this must be like for you...but Sam I want you to take it. I know we don't see eye to eye on a lot, but you've become so bitter...You used to be such a poet. Such a softie." A twinkle from Drew's eyes...Ahhh...such days were missed greatly...before Sam had been appointed God of Death.

Samael Mortis: "What will these people think" Some fear me...others hate me...when they discover I'm mortal, who knows what they'll do to me." Sam was always a pessimist, though he had a point.

Andromalius: "I don't know Sam, but don't you think you could be happier?" He countered the notion.

Samael Mortis: "I don't know what happy feels like anymore Drew..." True enough, as an impartial God of Death Sam was forbidden emotions. It was astonishing that he could feel so much conflict...but thats more indecision. Not necessarily an emotion.

Andromalius: "Look...I might just be talking out of my ass, but I think this'd be good for you. You should do it. Live your life...you've been going on and on for so long feeling nothing...don't you feel you owe it to yourself to feel something" You can't do this forever...that's why He's giving you a break. A way out. A way back to who you used to be...C'mon Sam...you know as well as I do that you miss that...or at least you would if you were able too."

Samael Mortis: Sam sighed and rapped his fingers against his chin..."I think I'm going to do it...You're right. I might as well...nothing better to do...A new adventure is in order."

Andromalius: Drew smiled, "Great. That's what I like to hear. Go get 'im." He almost laughed.

Samael Mortis: "Wait." Sam's tone went deadpan. "Who put you up to this" Why did you come back here to talk to me after all this time?" His eyes narrowed and his eyebrows raised.

Andromalius: "Sam I came back here because..."

Samael Mortis: "BECAUSE WHAT" Because that bastard brother of ours is worried about me" You can tell him to #$%^&* mself. He is inconsequential to me. His opinions are nothing."

Andromalius: "For someone who can't show anger, you're showing a lot of it..." Drew chided.

Samael Mortis: "Not anger. He's just...Urgh. He gets in my way. All the time...and he's always trying to make my choices for me." Sam could've fumed.

Andromalius: "He didn't ask me to come." Drew calmed Sam down a bit, "I came of my own accord."

Samael Mortis: Stopping himself in order to think more clearly..."You really want me to do this, don't you."

Andromalius: "Yeah Sam, I do. Not because I think you want to...but because I think you're too scared too. Give it a shot. What can happen" You die and go back. End of story...beats what I get. Surprised He even let me come up...then again, I do have a positive agenda." The deal was near closed.

Samael Mortis: "So...how does it work?" He'd finally made a decision, it seemed.

Andromalius: "Just will it to happen...You have to will for it to happen...otherwise it won't."

Samael Mortis: "Alright..." Sam focused, and then, after a few moments, a radiant display of light, dark and wind the God of Death became...Mortal. He could feel the warmth of the inn...he could...taste the air...like ale, sweat and vodka...

Andromalius: Now that all was said and done..."How does it feel?" Drew grinned.

Samael Mortis: "Wonderful." Smiling...beaming...You couldn't have made a happier mortal.
