In the middle of an empty feild just a few minutes from the market, but not all the way to the southern glen, the tiny fae chose the perfect place. there was a stream, meandering cheerfully around some large stones in it's bed, and carressing the banks as if saying I love you. The gurgling was merry, and the air smelled clean and crisp. Other than the stream, there was just grass. She was going to make something for Rhy'din a place for the water and ice types to especially enjoy..She stretched her tiny self and went to work. first things first the tiny ice fae froze the earth and blanketed it in a soft silvery snow. Not a bad start! Trees of solid ice formed all around the border, glassy branches intertwining in a way that created a natural border, save for a gap in each of the four sides to admit anyone who'd care to enter. the breeze caught the branches and though they were ice, the trees bent in the wind, but made music with each motion. the stream was changed now, she created a nice deep pool fed by the stream directly in the center, and a fountain of snow and ice so intricately wrought it looked like at any moment it should crumble into nothing more than frozen stardust. Within seconds the fountain was singing and splashing merrily, as benches grew out of the frozen earth, glittering diamond-bright, and cold. Icy plants were formed, roses, tulips, pansies, myrtle, violets, daffodils, irises and countless others. All of ice. The best part was that it was all true to life color. well almost. It was a pale frozen version that was translucent. and though they bent and swayed in the breeze like any true plant, the tinkling of thier stalks and leaves alluded to thier cold nature. The air was much cooler here now, and the park was like a frozen paradise. but she could do better than this! Birds...peacocks, peahens, jays, wrens all took frozen shape, singing and acting like thier warm-blooded counterparts. Crystaline fish splashed to life in the fountain pool, sparkling like gems..this place was beautiful to her...and her spell would last. she knew there was one last thing to do. With great effort she manipulated space-time and suddenly it was night in this garden, though outside it was day. Stars twinkled above, and the moon shone it's silvery face upon the garden bathing it in etherial light. a chill mantle that made each thing twinkle and shimmer like a mirage. This was a place of pure magic and she'd created it. She was proud of her work. She hoped the rest of rhy'din would like it as well...this frozen garden of forever-night.
