After the War of the Dragon-King's was completed, Kalis-Nar now the only Dragon-King of Athas, and now a true god, took a number of his most powerful templar-priests and defiler mages and went north, while his generals and his legions secured the city-states he had conqured. His next target were the so called Mind Lords of Saragar, disembodied psionic rulers from the previous age known as the "Green Age". These beings posed a threat to Kalis-nar and his rule. So they traveled the north road, and across the northen wastelands, conquering nomadic tribes of humans, elves, and various other races of the Tablelands, until at last, after two years of conquest the came upon the "Last Sea" a large body of fresh water, one of the few on Athas, and gazed upon the city of the Mind Lords, Saragar, a strange, white city, with unusal architecture, not seen since the "Green Age". Though Kalis-Nar admired the construction of the city, it had to be taken and destroyed. But since the Mind Lords could control the minds of living things, he and his templars and defilers instead summoned an army of earth, air and water elementals, along with ash, obsidian and chitin golems and large numbers of undead zombies, created from the dead nomads they conquered and killed. This massive force, numbering in the thousands attacked the city, as the mind lords could not sense the presence of golems, undead or elementals. These creatures took the city and laid waste to it with a matter of hours, killing everything and everyone, shattering the city to ruins. By day's end Kalis-Nar himself walked into the empty city as the army was dissolved. Walking amongst the dead and shattered buildings, the last three mind lords tried to stop Kalis-nar, but he had fed upon the souls of the thousands who once lived here and was too powerful by now.

He came into their deep underground chamber, and with his fist, he crushed the globes that contained the brains of the Mind Lords and tore them apart, and absorbed their psionic energry. Has his mind was too great for them, they became apart of him, and he gained all their power and knowledge. He returned to the surface and left the city of the Mind Lords a graveyard, which is still haunted by the spirits of the dead, tormented forever. Kalis-Nar would begin his third campaign, to crush the Kreen Empire to the East.
