Somewhere along the way Darcy had came back. Her beloved though' He appeared to be lost. It broke her heart but she had to accept the fact that he may be lost and unreachable. Thus, she buried the ring and necklace he had given her as symbols of his love and undying devotion to her.

That brief moment in time she had really and truly been happy. The ice he managed to melt around her heart encased it once more. She was detached from the world and everyone around her. Numb to her core. Darcy has now become stuck in a rut. When she wasn't ferrying the souls to the Underworld to Hades or answering the prayers for sacrifice she was drinking herself into a stupor.
