Taneth

Taneth bounced up and down as she surveyed the Great Hall. Many decorations were needed to make the Hall look even more spectacular than it already was. She knew she would need to ask Wyheree again if she was going to decorate for the masquerade, so she scribbled that down on her little notepad.

A giggle of glee as was given as she thought of all the food Rosie was going to make with her catering and she scribbled another note to remind herself to pay Rosie. She scribbled more and more: one to ask Des about party favors, another to check back on the music, one more for additional drinks, shopping trips with girls, and a final one about her own outfit. She hopped up on tiptoes and gasped as she thought of her own outfit.

"Oh no," Taneth squeaked out. "I need to find an outfit!"

With that final thought, Taneth turned and scurried out of the hall, through the inn with a bounce and out the front door. She needed to find something suitable to wear and fast! Not to mention, she had planned a shopping trip with various ladies that frequented the inn and she wanted to make sure they did, in fact, go shopping.

The bouncing blonde tender never would have imagined that the idea of the masquerade would have actually caught on as it did. Ideas for costumes, food, music, invitations for basically everyone had been floating about once the confirmation for Rosie's catering had been finalized. She was still surprised that she got help to pay for the whole thing! To top it off, she was still inviting the people she has just been meeting. It did seem like it was going to be a grand affair, which caused the little bundle of energy to flop onto her bed as she thought of it all. By the way, to describe her room would be to mention that it was utterly bare save for packing boxes and the few necessities of furniture.

Taneth sighed audibly as she continued to think about the party. She, herself, did not have a costume but she had found a dress and mask that she could wear, which made her smile to herself as she did so love to wear dresses. The girl rolled over onto her stomach, her feet in her air, as she reached for her notepad and pen that she kept by her bed on one of the boxes. She began to scribble down names of the people she wanted to dance with, or at least see: Mason, Luse, Kitty, Tasha, Wyheree, Icer, Guthorm?and the list continued on. She even wrote, literally, that big armored fellow that doesn't talk and the two sisters that seem shy. Another sigh and she set the pen down on the paper as she laid her head down and drifted off to sleep. She needed to regain her energy.

Wyheree

Wyheree stood in the Hall, silver eyes glowing and sparkling as she looked over the walls and ceiling. The menu was to be a Carribean one - which she learned was an island chain - so she wanted the decor to be like the ocean. As she gazed at the walls, they became covered in what appeared to be gauzy tulle, with little sparkles captured within - like sunlight on the water. She rested fingers on each table, and the same shimmering tulle formed over each one. Wyh drew water and air to herself, and crafted clever little dolphins and whales out of the ice she made, and arranged the figures on the center of each table, making sure each piece was made permanent so they would not melt.

Once the tables and walls were finished, she turned her eyes to the high ceiling, and wide sparkling silver ribbons appeared under the weight of her gaze to hang from the ceiling, glittering crystals clinging to the ribbons to shine and dance in the light of the Hall.

Finally, she went to the buffet table, and concentrated, pulling more air and water to herself, and she focused on the form of a leaping dolphin, calling its shape from the ice, creating the art in the corner of the table, touching it to insure its permanence. When the ice dolphin was finished, she glanced around, pleased with the look of the Hall. Then, she disappeared in a swirl of ice and mist to prepare for the Masquarade.

Jewell is going for all out shocking tonight with her depiction of water. She has turned her body into an artist's canvas as it is covered head to toe in shades of blue resembling the ocean with little rhinestones here and there for added depth and texture.

Only one doing a close examination will be able to see that she is not completely naked and is indeed wearing some form of clothing (aka a thong and pasties) to cover particular areas however that clothing is seamlessly blended in with the paint.

Her black hair has been altered to a deep blue—still not her natural color—to match the "costume."

((An idea of what body painting can look like: http://www.getmadeup.com/BP2_10_small.jpg and the pattern that Jewell has been painted like: http://www.fotosearch.com/comp/IGS/IGS145/EV550-041.jpg ))

So, Charna decided to go for the obvious animal, tonight, and decided on a simple mask (her mask is painted darker, of course):

matched with a vintage dress and black heels.

The dress has a high back to cover most the scars, and on top of this get-up, she decided on a long, crimson, curled wig to hide any visible marking that might give her away. The wig falls about two inches past her shoulders. The reds in the dress, wig, and mask are almost identical.
