Candice was sitting in the teas and tomes has usual. Sipping on a cup of red tea, and taking a bite of a jelly doughnut. Pad and paper with scribbles and doodles next to her. Then like it normally does her mind started to wander again. " How nice it would be to fly." Thinking aloud. Her other venture in exploring the multiverse put upon a back burner as she turns a page in the notebook and starts to draw out a crude plan for a flight pack. "Money to buy the scrap would not be to hard". Speaking to herself as she rose to her feet. The coffee bot sales gave her adequate change to buy a good bit of metal and mold it herself into the desired shape. Leaving a coin as tip she left the tea shop. Wandering around a few minutes as she has yet to memorise where things were in this large city stopped upon a blacksmith. Scrap iron bought. A nice pile which many things could see the light of day given the chance and the urge to create. She typed in a sequence upon the digital keypad strapped to her wrist which opened up a nexus portal. Changing the weight of each piece so it could be easily lifted and tossed into the vortex. A good twenty minutes pass and finally the least of it was through. Jumping into the portal it closed behind her. When the other side opened she stood upon the small pile of metal within a large hangar. Dimly lit through quintessence balls, and early quiet save for the coffee bot hovering around and exploring it's surroundings. Upon it seeing Candice a coffee mug was lifted from a workbench and brought over to her. Coffee poured and the usual condiments were added and stirred. She took a sip and nodded in thanks. Moving to the bench and setting the mug down. Those green mist filled goggles were affixed to her head and she moved looked towards the pile. Arms extended and she focused. The large pile lifting itself up and floats slowly towards the work bench. Setting down softly. Then with her expertise on reshaping matter the scrap soon began to take on familiar shapes. Small turbines affixed to a oblong shaped body reminiscent of a backpack with to jet engines affixed to the back. Then more metal was magically grafted and altered to move like cloth strapped with latches made at the ends. Armrests with buttons and small toggles were then attacked. Those to were made flexible forest of movement. But what about a fuel source? She shrugged it off. Magic was so errant around here she would never run out of juice to fuel her newest invention. Strapping herself in she took a deep breath. Eyes were closed as she filled her creation with her internal energies. The turbines beginning to turn and small jets of flame shot from the bottom of those engines. Soon she found herself airborne. A big smile granted her features and she extended her arms out and the toggles were adjusted with fingertips to bring her horizontal with the earth, and flying forward at superb speed. Moving the controls quickly to avoid crashing into the far wall she ascended. Body twisting and turning as she zoomed to and fro within that hangar. Having had enough for now Candice touched down and shut her invention down. Unstrapping herself and putting the machine upon her workbench yet again. The last thing was to make the metal even more sturdy and resistance to the heat generated, and that was to give it the properties of a newer metal she had examined a while back. Mithril. Her goggles removed the coffee was lifted and the rest downed. Moving to a beat up old couch and plopping down. Laying her head down upon an arm rest she dozed off. Having exerted herself for the day.
