*****The Capulet Castle was full of activity. The servants had arrived a month earlier to prepare for the Royal Family, and today they were moving in. There was the King & Queen De Capulet, as well as the Princess, H.R.H Princess Juliette Marie Capulet. While her parents squabbled over where to put the seating in the main dining hall, Juliette went to her room. Running up the marble staircase holding onto her dress, she wished she could wear le pant, like the stable boy did.

When Juliette was a child, she would watch him jump and play, and roll about in the hay stacks. And everytime she did, she was scolded by her Nanny. She does have a pair hidden away, that Jaques had given her before she left for Rhydin. Arriving in her room, she looked to her au pair girl and told her she would take care of her things. Juliette was no longer a child, and resented her parents treating her like one. Surely she was capable of putting away her own things. Her room was massive. Larger than her room in France, and even the one in England. And it looked like the room of a young woman, not a nursery. She told her mother that if she arrived in Rhydin, and her room looked as such, she was turning around and returning to England.

Feeling a bit lonely and vulnerable, as she knew no one here. And where was Rhydin, anyway' Juliette's father insisted it was a good place to "winter". All she knew was that she couldn't wait to find a man of her own, and no longer be carried about in carriages, all over Europe. She wanted to live in ONE home. She missed France, although she was too young as far as marrying then. And in England, she became quite fond of a young man, but her father forebade her to see him. Their father's were enemies. Father always said it was over a Providence, Juliette and her young man, believed it was a fight over a woman in towne, who both men fancied.

Leaving her packing for now, she went to the drapes and pulled them back from her french doors. Openging them out, onto the patio she felt the chilled autumn air kiss at her cheeks. Slowly she walked to the edge of the balcony, and looked over. The grounds were beautiful, and she had a staircase that lead to her room! She wondered if her parents had even thought of that!?! Probably not. An impish grin formed on her pink lips. "I shall unpack all of my things, then I can argue that I am unpacked, and refuse to move to another room, without a balcony with stairs! Before she went back in, she looked about, noticing that there was also a patio, and another set of french doors below which lead to it.

Looking up and out across the landscape, she gazed down about Towne. She could make out the main Marketplace, with it's square, and shoppe's. Perhaps soon she could go and look around. But for now, she needed to unpack her room, and ready it for when Ma' Ma' came in. They rarely ever argued. Certain once she was unpacked, she would stay in the room, with her own private entrance, AND exit. Smiling, Juliette went about, putting away her clothes in her armoire, and her perfumes on the vanity. And of course, had to find hiding spots for her precious journals of poetry and verse.

Juliette wrote down lots of things. She always had since she was taught to write. Her older journals are all in French, but her most recent ones, that is the better of 8 years have been in English. This way she would practice her penmanship, her language skills, and learn the English language. Juliette thought perhaps she would have to learn yet another language here in Rhydin, but her mother assured her, that most people spoke English here. Relieved, she wouldn't have to be tutored further, as she was done with her schooling four years ago.

Perhaps she might enjoy living here in Rhydin. Perhaps even remaining when her parents leave come spring. Juliette is certainly old enough, old enough to marry even. So long as her father doesn't have ideas of trying to marry her off again. Last time he did it, she ran away. Took them two weeks to find her. While she wasn't punished, her mother tried to explain to her that; "Arranged marriages CAN and often DO work out. Look at her and her father." Yes, thought Juliette; that was why he and her beau's father fought over a woman in towne! She would never tell her mother of such a thing. But she would marry for love. Nothing else. Ever.*****
