The dark warrior stood, watching over the city as the newly drugged begin to suffer through the high. Within a day, they would start carving themselves up as they go through withdrawl. He folded his arms behind him, quietly sensing the chaos errupt from below before he dropped down to the city streets, and began to direct the mercinaries and gang members who were newly armed.

"Go through out the city, take what you want, destroy that which stands in your way - let this new year begin with a scream."

The dark warrior chuckled as the minions began to laugh and move through the city.

He turned his eyes from one part of the city to another, and began to whistle a delightful tune.

Katerrina stayed up on the roof while Master Travanix jumped down to direct the gangs and mercenaries. A smirk played about her mouth as she listened to his orders, easily tuning in only his words over the noise of the street.

Master Travanix said to start the new year with a scream. Katerrina breathed in the anger, frustration, and despair of the people she felt milling about on the street. And she screamed it all back. The building she stood on shook. All the buildings within 50 feet of her shook. People shrieked and panicked and ran into the streets. They were easy pickings for the gangs and mercenaries.

As he approached from the opposite side of the city he could just begin to feel the Force scream that Katerrina had unleashed from high atop the building where she stood. A few moments later and he was slipping past his own mercenaries until the night parted and allowed him access to Travanix who, strangely enough, was actually whistling an almost happy tune.

"And here I thought that I was the crazy one" What's with the whistling?" He moved to stand next to his friend, dark cloak wrapped around him and the hood up to cover his face. "The other teams have started at the opposite end of the city and will meet up with the others somewhere near city center. They have the same orders to Spice anything that lives, to take what they want, and to destroy anything that gets in their way." He chuckled softly. "And I have a few surprises waiting in the wings should anyone decide that they'd like to interfere with our plans tonight.?

He continued to whistle his tune as Romax provided an update. He walked through the streets with his friend, watching the chaos. After a few minutes, he finally stopped whistling. "One of my commanders use to whistle as a means of keeping time with large operations. Each measure and verse was a way of knowing where an operation was at. The faster the tempo, the larger the operation. The slower the tempo, the more descrete the operation. An interesting talent he taught to me when I was a junior officer."

He stopped in the street as two mercinaries grabbed an old man who had run out of the building, pushing him to the ground. Laughing at him, the mercinaries pushed a vile of Spice into the man's neck. It didn't take but a heart beat before the man began to convulse on the ground as the drug began to take effect.

Travanix turned to Romax. "Pull all units out of the operational area within the next two hours." He turned from him, and began walking again, whistling that tune.

Katerrina leaped down to the street after she let the scream fade. The smirk returned as she watched the chaos through a red haze of residual power.

A cluster of boys caught her attention. They looked like young members of the gangs Master Travanix enlisted, yet they weren't doing what they were told to do. They were huddled together, whispering. Katerrina stopped and tuned in their conversation, hearing how they would take the spice vials and sell them behind his back. They thought themselves clever.

Without warning, the oldest of the boys clutched his throat. The vial fell from his fingers. Within a minute the boy collapsed and did not move. Katerrina turned her focus on the next boy, crushing organs until blood poured from his mouth and he fell on top of the first. The two survivors dropped the vials and ran in the crowd.

Katerrina raised her hand and all the vials flew into it. The smirk was back as she leaped onto a roof to watch the New Year scream in.

He watched quietly with a rather gleeful gleam in his eyes at Katerrina's fine manipulation of the dark side of the Force as she simply destroyed the group of merc's who thought it would be better to betray them than do what they were paid for. He only came back to himself when Travanix spoke.

"Pull all units out of the operational area within the next two hours."

Romax simply nodded his reply and turned to stalk down one of the side streets using the Force to toss aside anyone who got in his way, even his own men, like a child would bat away flies in the summertime.

An hour later found Romax on the other side of the city where his group of mercs had started, standing over a couple huddling in the V-shaped corner of two brick buildings; trapped like rats. Through the Force he had reached into the minds of these two and began picking out every happy memory they had and turned them into nightmares, each and every one of them featuring him as the cause of their pain and suffering. So inundated with fear and driven insane from the pain the memories caused the husband picked up a loose brick from behind his back and began to bash his wife's skull in before turning the blood soaked brick on himself. Smiling to himself Romax turned and walked away, his hands folded behind his back.

Thirty minutes later he was atop one of the taller buildings in the area, a small silver comlink in his hand. Flicking on the transmitter and raising it to his lips he began to issue the withdrawal orders.

"This is Lord Pol. Begin the withdrawal. All forces should be out of the city in no more than twenty minutes. Anyone left behind will answer to me."

He flicked off the comlink and stowed it in a pouch on his belt before launching himself into the air and onto another rooftop, heading for the city center so he could observe the withdrawal personally.

He was standing on the building that Romax landed upon. "The screams are delightful, are they not, old friend? There are the pure tones of terror that reside within the soul of all innocents. It would seem that our operation here has unleashed them into the air like a fine purfume."

He stepped closer to the edge, watching the troops beginning to pull out. "I have gotten word from one of our commanders that our second operation went off without an issue. They have been able to obtain the required resources. They departed for our beta site thirty standard minutes ago."

He turned back to Romax. "Be sure to leave a parting gift for our hosts at the north gates."
