Standing upon a rooftop, he gazed down upon the city like a predator watching its prey. He smirked as the snow fell gently around him. There was a rustling behind him. "Are your men in position, sergeant?" The question asked more as a confirmation; the sergeant would not have bothered him on the roof if the men weren't in position already.
"They are, my lord. We are prepared anytime you are." The sergeant said respectfully. "They await your command to begin operations."
"Excellent." He reached into a pocket to pull out a small cylinder. Speaking into it, "Phase one is to begin, phase two stand by."
"As you command, my lord," responded a female voice.
The comm device was placed back in his pocket, his arm folding back behind him. The sergeant began to climb back down, moving off in whatever direction his station was. The black uniformed figure stepped towards the edge of the building, watching out upon the street.
He smirked as several females began to move into the street. There were no markings, no collars, no indications of what their intentions were " but they were his. He followed them with the dark auburn eyes of a hunter, but they were not the prey.
There was no "pure target?, they wandered the streets, spreading out farther and wider.
While they appeared innocent, something more, something sinister was yet to come.
