Lyren stepped out into the cold night with her cloak draped over her shoulders. Her emerald eyes gaze around for a moment before she licks her lips slightly....the thirst. It controlled her and she hated it. The silver casing was taken from her boot and she pulled out a little red liquid filled capsul and placed it in her mouth. She didn't want something to wash it down with she simply bit into it and gods did it taste so sweet to her.
It was a concentrate almost....all the nutrients that are in human blood that she needs put into a pill so she doesn't feed off of humans so much. She needed doners....a place where she can always get blood when she needed it. She could live off of the pills forever but it took a lot to make it and they only held her off for a few hours at a time. She had to take them often unlike when she fed off of someone and could go days or even weeks without another drop.
Her tongue ring clicked off of her teeth as she walked the streets observing the world around her. This place was so alive....she thrived on the night life of course.
She had gone out in the day....which she could do as long as her skin wasn't exposed to the sun for long....that was always a pain. The sun hurt her eyes as well it burned with fury and when her skin was touched by its rays it felt like she was boiling alive.
The cool night air rushed into her lungs....she could live like this for a while. A long while. The night was familiar and the smell of the city reminded her of her home...
