((Here we go.....I haven't written in years, but hopefully it'll all come back to me....Feel free anyone to join in on the fun))
Akindrah slid her black cowl low over her features as her feet carried her through the muddied grave yard. It had been raining for days. She had been gone for way too long.
As she walked slowly, examining the grave stones, she wondered if she might find names of some of her old friends etched upon the stonework. "Friends," a slow bemused smile crept over her lips. Now that was a strong word wasn't it'
She was looking for some in particular: Poisonleaf Deadroot, NymFae, Jaladriel, Eleandor, Pike Legend, Zephyr Rush and so many others. Something told her they were gone like the mist that had surrounded her....Vanished forever perhaps.
She shrugged her shoulders slightly...Really, it would surprise her of any of them had made it through. The blast that had rocked RhyDin long ago had knocked chaos into the world. Many had scattered, many had perished and some, like Akindrah were just...hovering....Hovering in the place between life and death, reality and illusion.
But here she was....Akindrah had returned. She would see what this new world had to offer. A shudder ran through her lithe form. She took a few steps toward the gate and then stopped...her hand slid slowly down the hilt of her sword and dark eyes slid slowly to survey the landscape.
