Kalis-Nar, in his role as a god of death, came not to boast nor gloat over those who died. He was more like Hades, Osiris or Anubis, in his role as a death god, sending those who died to their deserved resting place in the afterlife. He came not in armor, nor with his sword in hand, he was dressed in a simple black robe, and a black shroud over his head. He came to visit the dead, in their sleep. He cleaned off the graves of the known and unknown dead, pulling weeds, replacing dead flowers with new ones, wiping off dust and grime. He spoke with some in their sleep, left small notes with egyptian prayers for the dead, lit and relit candles for them, sang simple tunes for them, and remembered them all, for if one is remembered they are never really gone. After the day was done, he simply left as the sun began to sunk into the west, the land of the dead. He said one last prayer in the ancient Egyptian langauge, for all the dead interred, and was gone in a whisper, the wind slightly blowing through the lonely place.
