Wyheree

It was a dark, cold night, snow falling softly over the city, frosting the tops of the gravestones in the cemetery, save a few. This night, the stillness was disturbed briefly when a small whirwind of snow and ice appeared near the newest grave. Once the mist cleared, Wyh walked slowly towards the silver stone, the snow in the air trailing after her, mingling with the ice crystals she left behing in her wake, for she was too sad to control them. For over a week, she had stayed with Jewell, giving her Sissy her strength and energy. This was the first night she dared leave her side. She thought to go home, but instead she was compelled to come here, so - here she was, standing before Skyler's headstone, gently running her fingers over the letters that spelled out his name. The tears she had held back spilled in silvery lines down her cheeks as she brushed the snow off the top of the gravestone. There was so much she wished to say, so many things, swirling in her mind like the snow. But, she was only able to manage one small whispered sentence:

"I am so sorry, my friend."

She then buried her head in her hands and cried, giving herself over to her grief where no one could see, the snow falling fast and thick all around her as she poured out her sorrow. She wished to be strong for Jewell, so much so that she had denied herself what she needed - time to grieve. Her sobs were covered by the near blizzard winds around her, swirling, spinning, and finally, she involuntarily phased herself home, back to the one who gave her strength. The Ice took her back to James.
